Just out of curiosity, without getting political; what is your beef with her? Why do you and others seem so angry (threatened)?

I understand you may not agree with her stance, but you can't say she hasn't accomplished a hell of a lot for someone 16 years old, she has certainly made people think, and quite frankly should be the person of the year. Who else has made such a splash this past year?

So I am curious. Why "titters, snickers, guffaws, chortles, howls, and roars"? This is a serious and honest question, not looking to debate or argue.

Time has had some interesting “people of the year” historically, including Adolf Hitler. I don’t know the circumstances of that one but it makes me want to find out how Time makes the choice. I’m typing on a phone right now, so trying to read up on that is going to have to wait.

It was Trump in 2016 so clearly Time magazine thinks they've both accomplished similarly great things!

I think time 'person of the year' is basically just which person or group who made the most noise...that said, congratulations to young Saint Greta :cool
