Hi

Anyone know where one can buy 46mm socket in South Bay?
I tried Lowe's, couple auto shops (auto zone, and one other)

Thanks

I have a 1 13/16" 12 point socket in 3/4" drive I'll lend you. It would take a couple of days but I could ship it to a Mike's Bikes in the South Bay.

Thank you for the offer. I was hoping to find it locally so I can work on my bike tomorrow. I guess I'll just order from Amazon prime.

Also give Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH) a ring. I know they carry some pretty oddball stuff there.
Nope. :-(

I've tried to find one in a pinch before. Had to go the 1 13/16" route also. Lowes has them on the shelf. For 3/4 drive

Try/call Sears, they'll likely have an Impact Socket in that size.

Nope. Biggest is 36mm
It's really is a odd size socket. Heh, should have ordered in advance, just didn't think I would need to get wheel off to install the part.

you got napa, winchester auto, allied auto parts, car quest, ace. your so commercial brah. support your local business

Hmm, there is not a lot of wiggle?

Not bad. I use it for my speedtriple rear axle nut. Some pretty anodizing to worry about?

I'm in the Cupertino/Sunnyvale area if you need it.

Also Nu tools on El Camino has them on hand (did when I last checked) Waaaaaay overpriced though.

If you haven't found a solution... Monday you can try calling Bugformance of San Jose. 46mm is the size of vw bus rear axle nuts, and iirc they have a tool in stock for those. (Vw bugs are 36mm)

I also have that socket, and you can borrow it... But I won't have access to my toolbox until Tuesday.
