I have been driving around for better part of afternoon trying to support locally...
For future reference: Tool Mart in Daly City. From my experience, they have pretty much any tool you might want.
You might try sears. Usually sockets that big are with the axle nut sockets in auto parts stores. Looks like most auto parts stores have that as a special order item though.
You can always get it online:

also if you do get one, you will likely need a 3/4" to 1/2" adapter

I have that in my "saved for later" cart. I have a supposedly Ducati specific 46mm socket, but the problem is the rear nut is so shallow that keeping the socket on when trying to break the 150 ftlb torque is a pain. It's a serious design flaw of the SSSA.
Eat some spinach and try again.![]()

McMaster-Carr is where we got our massive Ducati sockets.
The right sized socket, breaker bar, stand on it and have a friend hold the rear brake.![]()
Gobs of options come up in Google by just typing 46mm socket

I've got a 46mm with half inch (1/2") drive (socket) you may borrow.
Shouldn't this have been posted in the Garage Forum?![]()

...Gotta drop the muffler, pull the muffler plate, and THEN pull the tire. yeah boy.........
Don't know about the GTS, but the LS150 exhaust drops in one piece pretty easy. It's a little fiddly getting it lined up and back on, but overall 2 on a scale of 10.
AND I did get the 46mm socket today, and I think it might work better than the "ducati wheel nut special tool". It fits nicely. We'll see.
