NFL 2018/2019 Thread

But chiefs are people and eagles aren't.

And the poor bolts don't belong in either.

WTF is a "brown"? If it's an association with the team's founder shouldn't they be swapped with the bolts because they are more akin to "men"?

Edit: sorry, just letting my thoughts flow a bit

FINALLY! Someone else recognizes that the Philadelphia Eagles are NOT people.

:D

Not enough attractive chicks in Jersey :dunno

Bruh, a lot of Joisey girls may be crazy and/or trashy, but they are fucking hot by the bucketload. Also, since the City is the heart of Television, Theater, and Fashion Models in America, fuggedaboudit. :hand

The only place in America where you can compete with the NYC Metro Area for women of superficial hotness is Los Angeles. That is something I really love about L.A. so many of even the regular street chicks have their shit together. They have their look figured out, do their hair and make up to put it all together, love that shit.

Scot Mcloughan used his alcohol powered talents to assist the Browns this year.....

... that actually changes my opinion of their draft upward. for all his faults he is an effective draft talent evaluator

I still have zero faith in Mayfield.

Mayfield is interesting. If he can focus himself and stay committed to being competitive without the Jr, high antics he will be fine. Alternatively he is going to face 53 other guys every Sunday that are just as fired up as he is, who collectively have talent that far exceeds anything he saw in college. Those guys know how to get under someone's skin. Mayfield's success will hinge on his composure. I'm rooting for the guy. I hope his prior experiences outside of football and Johnny Football's example of what not to do ring loud and clear with him.

I'm just excited that Denver got Chubb. Von Miller and Chubb will be a defensive force.

I also have no faith in Hue Jackson helping him get better :laughing

As much as I want to agree at some point all that pickling is going to end up altering his ability to evaluate talent. That day may have come and gone. He was with the Skins last year. Anyone remember their draft being exceptionally good?

I think Eldy was talking the Browns up a few pages back as well.

I'm not holding out much hope as I think Mayfield is going to be another Heisman QB bust in the NFL.

Yeah, I think passing on Chubb was wildly stupid, putting him opposite of Myles Garret would have been the most terrifying front this side of the Houston Texans when healthy. I also think Squanbark or one of the other QB's would have been a better pick for them, but the went for thte full boat circus you were hoping for from somebody.

I am very curious to see what my guys do with both Tackles upgraded, a rookie Guard who is a mauler, and the new RB Supreme. I suspect our offense might look more like the rebuilt tough running New Orleans least year, but with more Catchers.

I feel the same about the raiders passing on vea. Him and Mack would have been devastating

^ You think that level of professional shit talk isn't gifted at birth????

coulda had a young and fast Trumaine Edwards. Instead they got old and slow Derrick Johnson. Does this mean Bowman ain't coming back?

Bowman was a free agent that wasn't resigned.
