NFL 2018/2019 Thread

wtf u guys

nobody is talking bout beast mode and not getting the rock on 4th and 1 goaline?

Common did you guys not watch the goddamn superbizzzzzzowl like 2-3 years ago?

Raiders lost a extra point and were down by 8, that flip the ball to fullback was the most retarded copy cat play the league has been doing for the past 3 fukn weeks.

Fukn outright copycat - that isnt working.... and you got beast mode in the backfield

Common barf, where is the hate :laughing

The only hate I have now is I'm rooting for Mack to win DPOY to show how much of a fool Gruden is. Gruden should have stuck to selling wings and tires.

Dumb.Shoulda gone for it. As if the Steelers weren't going to be able to run a minute and then just down it.

I missed the "bad" half last night, but during the 4th quarter rally, I decided I want whatever Fitzmagic is taking. That dude was amped and at times, was lighting fast and precise. He really is a perplexing figure. I call him the "Old Spice Guy" because he really should be the spokesman. To me, he is up there with the Most Interesting Man in the World because of his improbable success. I still think of George Plimpton when I see him on the field (OG reference, sorry, Plimpton was a guy who famously tried doing different jobs around the world; Fitzpatrick exudes that with his "even tho' I'm a Harvard guy I can hang with the SEC NFL puppy mill guys). At any rate, he keeps it interesting thus far this year.

Think the NFL should try and institute a QB salary cap?

Thats the problem. Every decent quarterback HAS to get paid more than last signed QB, unless you're smart like Tom Brady.

By implementing a QB max salary, the teams will have more $$ to spread around and QBs might not be so off limits to being hit.

The league is simply protecting each teams investments by the rules for tackling/hitting a QB. Ratings will go down if Rodgers or Brady arent playing and the team had to recoup $$ if injured. I'm sure the Niners had an insurance policy out that will pay them back some $$ now that Jimmy G is out for full freaking year.

Football has lost it's mojo for me. It's fun watching highlights but I'm not into it like I was. It's in my eyes a version of paid slavery.

The numbers go higher, but the percentage of the cap is pretty similar with each guy.

:laughing

:laughing Speaking from experience, living in SEC land isn't that much fun. Only so many times you can hear 'roll tide' mid sentence... :rolleyes

Yea, I honestly don't care anymore. Fun to watch the Browns win, but only because they lost a billion games in a row, and only because I don't really care about the outcome. Much rather watch basketball and baseball.

My son worked as a bartender in New Orleans. As you probably know, there were the games where the Alabama bunch came into town. He had dark homicidal feelings over that "roll tahde" bit...:rofl:rofl:rofl

congrats to ryan switzer on his first nfl touchdown! that kid has some serious hands. good luck to him in pittsburgh.

Its a team effort, dont root for the wr who got the td, root for the o-line and the qb sliding his line to buy time to get that throw - after doing a audible and moving corners and realizing what the defense is scheming on the current down.

Football is still amazeballs how talented and well coached the players execute day in and day out.

Remember any given sunday, yea and the hello kitties ran through the patriots last week too :party
