I grew up right across the state line from you. Lived between Ward Parkway and State Line Road. I was a caddie at Indian Hills Country Club when I was a kid and spent a lot of time at that shopping center in PV.

im not really that upset with them not winning. everyone said they would be a 500 team this year, not a superbowl team. i think everyone just needs to chill on shannahan and jimmy (even tho i do think hes over rated) but look at his numbers. this is also his first full season hes ever played and he made it to the super bowl.

Mainly because he's cheap as far as cap hit and there's nothing out there available aside from Brady. All available QB are too old or too much $$$.

Well there's also the fact that he made it to the SB in essentially his first full season as a starter, and he's only 28.

There's zero reason to move on from him.

KC was just better. Like, there isn't a big fault in the Niners that was exploited, they are a damn fine team with youth, talent, and a bright future that will be competitive for years to come.

The Chiefs just did the exact same shit to them that they did to everyone else in the playoffs. This year they are that good and the Champs. No reason for Niners to shame.

If I was the Niners I would look for a WR in the first round.

Need a DJ Metcalf type, a receiver with speed and or size that can get down field. Open the middle of the field for Kittle and Deebo.

Pretty awesome to think Kittle and Deebo will be around for awhile.

Sherman might move to safety. Eric Davis on the radio said he could no problem and extend his career.
 
I'm guessing it's either gonna be interior OLine or defensive back. They only have their 1st rounder and then nothing until the 5th.

Also they get Trent Taylor and Jalen Hurd back from injury next year. Dunno if they'll keep Sanders or not.
 
I've been saying all year they need to overhaul the secondary & get a really really good WR. Those two things & they would be much much better.

Time to retire Sherm. He's had a great career but lost a step or two. Smart competition would wait until late in the game, then take advantage of that just like KC did.
