But besides that.

I hate Seattle, but Russ is the best QB in the league right now.

Seattle looking real as a mofo right now. Looks like them and The Pack are the only real teams in the NFL, a lot of bad ball being played out there.

The Bears are also 3-0 and i like their spice, but I don't believe them.

yeah it's gonna suck watching some 8-8 joke make the playoffs out of the NFC Least while the Seacocks, Cards, and 49IRs beat the fuck out of each other all season in the West.

haha didn't seattle make the playoffs back in the day when they were 7-9 winners of the division, and won their playoff game? and when the nfc east had the best 3-4 teams in the league each year for like 10 years? my how times have changed.

now that I think about it, the extra playoff spot may help a team that struggled to be full strength and could possibly make a run, like new orleans. or the 9ers, really. They won't be full strength at the end of the year, but they'll be healthier than they are now.

yeah they beat the saints.

also its hard for SF to be less healthy than they currently are.

I don't know, that has never really bothered me. There is usually 1 or 2 really bad divisions that puke up some 9-6 or worse bottom feeder into the playoffs. Good teams should get a wild card.

In '06 and '07 the East took both wildcard slots. I think the West seems in a good position to do it this year.

Arizona seems on the rise, the Niners are coming of a really good year, the Seachickens look for real for real, and the Rams have been competitive for years now, although I get the impression they are slipping.

The only other teams that seem worth a damn are the Pack and da Bears, so they will offer up some competition. I have a feeling Minnesota might surge later and surprise people.

It just makes the regular season division games more meaningful, right?

The Seahawks defense is in shambles. All any opposing team has to do is throw it over the middle, out of the reach of Bobby Wagner. They're going to have to score 30+ points every week if they want to keep winning. It's entirely possible, but sheesh it's not a SB winning team at this point.

Any time Wilson is healthy the Seahags are a SB team...winning or not.

Does it matter who is better: RW3 or PM15? They are both writing their tickets to Canton with every game they play. I don't know about you all but I sure wish my team had someone like that at the helm right now.

Is it correct that Wilson has never received a single MVP vote? I thought I heard during one of the hi-light shows....

The people who vote on it are the same people who said he couldn't cut it because he's too short...or too <fill in the blank>.

It's amazing that he hasn't gotten at least one vote.

A shitty Daniel Jones would probably get one before Wilson just by being in New York.

Vikings and Titans have positive COVID tests, games could be cancelled.

Yeah, that's going to interesting. Vikings at the Texans and Titans at the Steelers this week. Games get pushed til the end of the season?

yes its a concern, but they've also had huge leads in all 3 games, which forced their opponents to throw in the 2nd half. Atlanta ran 54 pass plays, Patriots 44 and the Cowboys threw 57! Their run defense has been stout though.

I do think the Seahawks will be competitive this season. if the crowds don't return, I think the season benefits teams that run ultra competitive practices, almost game like, not simulation, not walk throughs. Seahawks are well known for their compete everyday mantra. I think players that feed off of fan energy will not be as good this season.

It's true, no one gives a fuck what happens in Seattle, but I think part of the reason is that Seattle for so long has gotten credit for their Defense leading the way. That certainly seems to be changing, but sometimes it takes a while to defeat the pre-existing narrative, you know?
