NFL 2021

Probably but he really should show something first before he starts demanding Mahomes/Allen level dough though AZ could get a ton of QBs that can barely get them into the wildcard round and they wouldn't demand that kind of money.

He's still a kid, that fucking agent is POISONING his brain with magic ego juice. He is fucking up and will probably see it soon.

The rookie cap was installed for a very good reason and if AZ tries to budge on this shit, the Owners are going to go all bug eyed on them at the owners meetings, oldest franchise be damned.

the rookie cap was installed because owners are cheap bastards.

It TOTALLY fucks over the majority of non-QB players who rarely get to a 2nd contract.

Not really. Salary Cap keeps increasing, TJ Watt just signed a contract for like $25m per year.

Most professional entertainers I know would literally kill someone to get a 4 year contract at a minimum $660k per year before they had to figure the rest of their life out and go back to playing music or acting or whatever as a weekend hobby.

Big contracts are for big franchise guys, most musicians even if they can get paid to perform, do not get to collect Katy Perry money, not ever. It is stupid to keep creating the Ryan Leafs of the world straight out of college.

:dunno

Ryan Leaf's contract still paled in comparison to the teams revenue.

Most professional entertainers aren't doing it for a $15B revenue establishment like the NFL.

Who cares? Management and ownership always owes labor NOTHING except what the market will bear. :dunno

The salary cap artificially depresses that market. That's the entire point.

Hey, if y'all want to eliminate the Salary Cap so the Giants can win 50% of all future Superbowls, I am interested.

:laughing

The Giants are already 6.5M over the cap in 2022 with shit players...what would they do with no salary cap? double Jones's salary? lol

LOL, we are in all that cap trouble BECAUSE of the cap. Making bad choices on mediocre players to try and fit within this scheme.

Do you want to see how good we are when Patrick Mahomes, Derrick Henry, Davante Adams, Cooper Cup, Myles Garrett, Aaron Donald, TJ Watt, and Nick Bosa are playing for us next year?

There is a reason the Yankees are the wildly, far and away, best team in the history of baseball. They didn't have to be better at running a team or anything like that, they just bought all the best players off of the other teams. :dunno

It is bad for a sport when it works that way, which is why the Giants as an organization have always very strongly advocated against going that direction, so small market teams like the greatest ever to play the game, the Green Bay Packers, would remain able to compete.

Charles Barkley calls Aaron Rodgers one of those pretty girls you need to tell them they look pretty everyday

:laughing

He rants about all the other QB who ask for max contract and how their careers fared afterwards, then says they all dumb and won't do a Brady. Complain about making 35mill vs 40mill a year lolol fuck what a problem to have!
