NFL 2021

Well, you keep missing the Defense part of it though. Raiders D just isn't very good. Cleveland is better, but they have a ToD of like -3. They control the field well, but don't get enough turnovers.

Their sacks aren't bad, but not great. Myles Garrett is a monster and Clowney performed well this year (9 sacks), but after those 2, I don' think they have a single player with more than 2 sacks.

Too many motherfuckers talking about Joe Montana, not enough talking about Keena Turner and Ronnie Lott.

I think you missed the defense part. I originally mention among other things that Denver’s defense is really really good (3 ranked defense), but you insist it’s the o-line (which we were recently discussing) then you say it’s the defense. Which is it?

I gotta say the most satisfying thing about this year was beating the Chargers to knock them out of the playoffs after the Chargers defense said Carr was "playing scared" in the October game....

I’ve always liked Carr. Solid person and a pretty clutch QB.

Nah, I was talking about the other teams they mentioned. Denver seems to have the Defense, for them The O-line is the problem.

I like him in Oakland. Ever since the move to Vegas, he seems to have gotten really "Bro-ey". A lot more geriatrics and hooting and hollering. Needs to tone it back down and throw dimes.

The only times I can think of him speaking up in Vegas was when Gruden was fired and when Ruggs was arrested, and he seemed to channel his Christian compassion.

I don't think they would have made it to the playoffs this year without him taking some control and speaking up. :dunno

Law of unintended consequences.
1. LA asked Ticketmaster to limit ticket sales to credit cards with zip in LA
2. Ticketmaster saw an opportunity, knew that most of the sales would be to scalpers.
3. Initial sales lasted 2 days, but now many of those tickets are selling to people from Northern CA
4. Scalpers win bigly
5. Ticketmaster gets their BIG cut from many of the tickets twice.
6. Rams won't get their fans packing stadiums

He's a good quarterback. A good dude, (I have been at the same church event as him and his family.) I think highly of Carr and his character.

But:

Specifically, the way he acts on the field after good plays. It has changed in the last 2-3 years. He turned into more of a rah-rah cheerleader trying to pump up his teammates. I know it sounds odd that someone doesn't get excited over cheer leading, leave that to the professionals.

/image - actual cheerleaders here.....

Still no where as bad as Brady's sideline screeching, but he gets his team fired up. :dunno

Well, if you want to bring tb12 into it, does Carr shake hands like a Man after he loses the game or does he storm off the field crying like a little bitch, just how he learned from his old Coach?

Shit, now we're gonna trade Jimmy to Tampa and he's gonna keep winning.

Nah, having the GOAT has elevated that team. If TB12 retires, they're going to fall to pieces. Half the guys on that team are so old they are already dead. If Tom Brady's mummy is going to shamble off the field, all the other zombies he has summoned to support him will be gone in no time.

meh, goat could still win, 22 years in the league and he just keeps improving his stats over and over

imagine if this was motogp, you dont retire if you still killing it day in day out

Dude has earned like $300mill in his career. His legend as best ever is undisputed now, no questions, no asterisks. Playing Pro-Ball, you are a slave to your diet, exercise, and sleep schedule most of the year. You work every weekend.

His oldest son is 14, he has not been around. His little girl is 8, he has never been around. His wife makes more money that he does.

Shit, man, I would want to just hang out and bother my kids for a few years before they go to college and bail on me to go be grown ups.

:dunno
