NFL 2023

LOL, you reckon they wear Rose Tinted Glasses when they lose? :laughing (fingers crossed)

For the week 5 game to be hyped up like were saying, then yes I think they would have to be viewing that arizona loss through rose colored glasses. Meaning, if the game is well matched, then I think it's just two teams of mediocrity that happen to be well matched and not some sort of nfc championship preview.

I mean, second to the name "Commanders" in place of Redskins was "Generals"...as if Custer himself and the US military was a great thing for Native Americans.

They didn't think this one out so good...

I don't think there was any, "as if," The idea was clearly more to utterly divorce themselves from the Native American identity and instead focus on the the local relationship with The Pentagon.

:wtf

2023 Niners v Cowgirls is a matchup of two mediocre teams? I just.

I don't even know how to respond to that. :laughing

I guess I just didn't let last year somehow erase all the others. :laughing

:wtf I mean sticking with this year, the Niners in particular are ranking by all the professionals as a Team equaled only potentially by Philly and Kansas City.

Dallas is still coming in as a top 10 team, but the fact that they were missing like (4) O-Line starters in the loss to Arizona is probably dinging them more points than they deserve if they can get healthy as the season moves on.

Historically, if you want to talk about previous years, the Niners have been to the Superbowl twice in the last decade already and Dallas is sadly literally the winningest team in football history, so, it seems like you are kind of coming out of left field on that one?

To call those 2 teams mediocre this year is just bizarre, quite frankly.

There are a few other exciting games out there The Bills Murderers Row they have to Survive vs. Philly, Dallas, And KC all look pretty good and so does that Chiefs game against Philly, which might be a legit Superbowl preview.

I'm saying I don't think it's the matchup you're conveying, because the cowboys are probably the same old cowboys of recent years(not counting 20+ years ago because there's nobody from that era still playing), so if you think it's going to be a well matched game, then it would only be a well matched game because the niners are equally mediocre, which I do not think is true. We'll see pretty soon of course!

Since Sean Payton took over and talked hella shit about the old coach Hackett, the Broncos are actually worse than last year. After 3 games they were 2-1 in 2022. This year they've started 0-3 culminating in a 50 point loss to the 'fins.

moral to the story: don't talk shit until after you've done better.

Odds right now are that the Bronocs are the worst team in the NFL. The Bears sadly seem committed to giving them a run for their money though.

Damn, the Lions bit some kneecaps...

LOL, I know nobody was expecting shit from Green Bay this year, but the Lions are looking pretty legit, honestly.

I always try and find some spare time to root for those poor bastards on the rare occasion they give you a reason to be able. I would love to see them lose to the Giants in the NFC Championship game this year.

:teeth

We will find out Sunday. Should be an interesting game.:rofl

Brown never played for the Raiders, he's a Steelers problem child. :x

LOL, Mike Mayock has told me otherwise. :laughing

You know, I wouldn't flush this Toilet Bowl yet. Sometimes when two superbad teams like this get together to play for pride, they are pretty well matched at their low level and really kick the shit out of each other in a desperate attempt to prove who is the worst.

2 Bad Teams giving everything of their absolute best can be more fun than watching a couple of mediocre teams do a typical show, you know?

This took a little longer than longer than i expected, honestly.

he asked for, and was granted, a release from the Raiders in the preseason. It was the entire basis of the Raiders not paying him.

He practiced with the team a bit, as he was healing from some sort of cryogenic chamber injury to his feet :)rolleyes). I think he served some teammates a special mix of gatorade in a preseason game, if I remember the Hard Knocks correctly. but... never played in any official capacity for the Raiders.

essentially, he played the Raiders as fools in order to get to the Patriots because the Steelers wouldn't allow him to go directly to the Patriots. I'm sure in some backroom convo they told him that if he were to end up with the Patriots they'd try to assassinate his 'character'. But he went anyways, and then some 'unknown source' leaked that he raped his physical therapist and we're off and running
