NFL 2023

well once again the Raiders game is blacked out in the bay unless you pay for a service

It's on the local CBS affiliate here on the Monterey Pen/Santa Cruz area.

The 9ers are currently on the Fox affiliate, so "9ers Territory" probably isn't the reason.

(In Nelson voice) HA-HA Eagles. Good two-for today even tho I felt the outcome of the game with Commanders was foregone conclusion given all their woes.

I really wanted the Cowboys to lose after the nation had to witness that ridiculous ring of honor bit. I mean, what the actual fuck…

I will be interested in any future revelations regarding the report to ref thing, It felt fishy but I am not objective when it comes to the Cowboys, who once again, got the national spotlight in the holiday season complete with all the genuflecting to the ring of honor. Bleeeeechhh.

Aw too bad for Giants.

We got Ravens and Dolphins on CBS up here. Fox showed a movie. I guess CBS could have shown them as the out of market game. :twofinger

Too bad, it was a better game than the Baltimore game, even if the Raiders got robbed and jobbed by the zebra crew.... ;)

Don't know where "up here" is, but if that's the local channel choice, I don't care.... :teeth ;)

Nice.

Giants now officially have the worst Offensive Line in the NFL since the '86 Eagles.

9ers vs Ram will look like a preseason game.
Heard both Stafford and Purdy will be riding the pine.

Other big stars to see limiated action too.

Maybe we should all sit this one out:laughing

Well, to me, here’s the paradox: they added another game to the regular season schedule but the seedlings are established mostly as before: so we get a weekend of starter people sitting out games. I guess enough loyal fans will be watching for the revenue stream. I guess…….

Any game with one of these teams might be worth watching; 3 of them play Saturday.

There are 13 NFL teams in must-win situations: Jaguars, Bills, Colts, Texans, Steelers, Packers, Bucs, Eagles, Cowboys, Seahawks, Saints, Falcons and Vikings.

I don't think the cowboys or eagles have to win, they're both locked in for playoffs.

I am feeling sad for the Mrs. Her and the daughter are both Ram's fans and have tickets for the game. I said hell no. I am done dealing with going to the games. Way to much $$ and hassle. :afm199

My eyes are not benched so I will watch :laughing

It would only be worth watching if the starters were playing so they could slaughter ‘em at the end of the long season. The only Niner game I ever went to was way back in the 80s when we were having drenching rains and we were up something like 38 to 6, the Rams had the ball with two minutes to go and the whole crowd was on its feet screaming DEFENSE, DEFENSE. THat was my moment to understand the group experience of fandom.

Ah, the good ol Rams hatred.:laughing

They are but if I remember correct if Eagles win then they get 2 seed and Dallas is wildcard but if Dallas wins they keep 2 seed and Eagles are wildcard. I could be wrong as I haven't been paying as much attention now that the Niners have a lock on the 1 seed.

I *think* cowboys win the tie and if the cowboys win, it won't matter what the eagles do...I think.
