You're jumping topics. I don't care what you buy. I do feel obligated to give good advice to somone asking how they should spend four to fifteen thousand dollars.
Those people feel a need to ask. That means they're uncertain, or don't know anything about anything and want real world advice.
If you wanna spend your $20k on a HD or BMW or anything else I wouldn't I really don't care. If you want an opinion I'll give you mine but what you do with your money has no effect on me. Actually it's better if you buy junk I don't want because the junk I want will become a little cheaper.
The problem is, your opinions aren't solicited and you feel that just because something's more expensive than what you (apparently an economist) think is reasonable, it becomes elitist and a "fanboy" toy.
