Ninja H2?

I think i maybe missing the "300hp" is too much camp.

300hp at the top end means more hp at the low end too. Even if say you can only possibçy use 140rwhp on the street. This bike will serve you 140hp in more places than my 1199, maybe right off 3k or at 4k, where most bikes barely break into 80rwhp.

I think it's worth it. Even if you mostly use 140hp.

Even if you just use 100hp, you can have more fun with it than say a highly strung 600cc.

300hp isn't about "using it all at once". Gearing will have a large effect on how all those ponies get put down. You could, potentially, have gearing that makes this bike feel slower than a Ninja 250.

Yes, electronics will tame it by REDUCING THE POWER OUTPUT. So what's the point of a 300 hp bike if you can never actually use the 300 hp?

because its basically insta-power everywhere all the time, always max acceleration that the tire can handle, that's pretty friggin cool.

why are motogp bikes 240hp, they aren't using all 240horsepowers all the time...

And if we attached a lever long enough to it. We can stop the rotation of the earth!

Hm. What ΔV would you need to perform on a 180kg motorcycle at the equator in order to stop the rotation of the earth? Is it possible to gear a Kawasaki H2 for such? Please show your work. :laughing

"And it will undoubtedly change the motorcycle landscape forever."

I'm going to guess:
- telescoping forks
- swingarm
- internal combustion heat engine
- seat between and above the wheels
- friction brakes

Yep, I'm still batting a thousand. People have been building forced-induction motorcycles forever. Supercharged, even. 300 horsepower is a question of degree, not of type, and this motorcycle changes nothing.

Try again, Kawi.

I think this is totally badass, and love it when manufacturers put unusual (even if not new) technologies in production bikes.

Congratulations... for, something?

Kawi just stamped their middle finger across Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha forheads for the next 20 years of motorcycle development

you guys do realize this bike may have like 200 ft lbs of trq at like 3k right......

this trq monster is gonna out-accelerate the fukn veyron (hopefully), and once you hit 200mph, your gonna praise the lord you got 300hp cuz bikes with 200hp are topping out close to 200mph

oh really, i wonder how many passes those drag bikes can get before a full rebuild needs to be done :rofl, no too mention those drag bikes only go in a straight line

bow down, 300hp team green, others wont be anywhere near this at a production level standpoint to the masses for probably another few years.

haters gonna hate :twofinger

I love this bike! The trellis frame rocks and while I can't say it's beautiful you won't confuse it for anything else.Yes 300 hp is too much but bikes aren't about what you need they are about what you want and the street version is " only" gonna have 220 (hopefully 250+)or so anyway if the leaks are true.:thumbup to Kawi!

yea, this is all good.

I remember when there was talk of a 100hp limit on bikes. So this is all good. I can't wait to see how the other manufacturers respond.

I hope they make a street fighter version.

$30k for the street 250hp
$65k for the track 300hp

H2 street will be revealed at EICMA

why not have 2x streets and have 500hp rockets for the price of 1 300hp, then you and your buddy can be riding

There are already bikes out there with more power than this COW and people have used all of the available ponies when the time and place is right so arguing that having 300hp is useless is pretty useless.

Basing on that argument: Since people can't use all the 35-40 HP out of their Ninja 300 or DRZ at all times, the times that all of 35-40 HP can't be use is a waste too then huh.
