BlendTec you say? How easy is that MF to clean?
to clean a blender, you put soapy warm water in it, turn the speed up to nuclear, and repeat till it's clean and the soap is gone but wtf do i know i told you to get a blende in post #6
Peanut Butter's gonna make it a bit oily, but like B said: I clean mine in the AM with hot water and that's all it takes. IF I was doing PB on the regular, I'd put hot water in it, some degreaser and leave it till I got home...then rinse it and it'll be good. Blendtec/ Vitamix aren't cheap, but they last for (literally) ever. I've had my BT for over 13 years now and still going string. Had to replace the base blend pitcher, but that wasn't too bad. It's been bullet proof and I've got like 3000 blends on it or something. A ninja will be dead in like 4-5 years of heavy duty, IME.
