So, most of you know I am moving back East at the end of May... lots of details to work out of course, but one major thing I am worried about - what will I do without BARF?!? :cry I have a group I used to ride with back in NYC, and they rock, but its not the same fun social scene that we have here. It's more about riding motorcycles and less about drinking. (Weird, I know). :laughing Plus, they mostly ride cruisers, not that I can't hang out with cruiser riders but I am more into the standard/sport bikes now...

I think there needs to be an East Coast equivalent to BARF... or else I am going to go through withdrawl.

Anyone know of any good forums for sportbikes out there?

It's nae looking good -- either start your own, get Steve to issue you a franchise, or fall back on NYC craigslist....

Reading the boards is one thing, but I will cry when I see the pix of the P&W meets cause I can't be there. :cry

(Just teasing, I could never replace BARF... just hope to meet some cool sportbike riders once I get back east so I can ask them all the annoying questions I usually ask you all. :angel)
 
Take out the Y and just make it NARF. Then you could have Pinky of Pinky and the Brain fame as your mascot.

I'm sure you can still come on here and ask folks questions, or there's these things called telephones you could try if the online thing isn't working for ya!
 
Or you could take the fire department route and call it RFNY.

I know I know, I can still chat with everyone online, but who will grab my ass at a bar and then pretend they didn't? Who will spread rumors about me dating everyone on the board? Who will throw up on my porch?

MizC, you could be our East Coast Correspondent and we can fly out to have a NY meet every year. That way you won't be missing out on the ass grabbing, porch vomiting, busom burying, gossiping fun. If she drives back, we should follow her on our bikes, dropping off one by one as we hit reserve, and need to get gas.

Figure a couple of us can go at least 200+ miles before reserve, so that means we can bug the living shit out of her for a few hours at least :laughing
