Stumptown Brewery in Guernville for their Rat Bastard ale. They also have a Beer Revival and BBQ Cook Off at the beginning of summer.

Found an App awhile back called Beer brewery and brewpub finder. Uses google maps and marks brewery and brew houses.

Pretty up to date, has business hours, address, and phone number listings.


Couple I've found using it.

Jupiter Brewery in Berkeley.

Elevation 66 brewery in El Cerrito.
 
For those on the road.

Dunsmuir Brew Works just south of Weed on I5 was excellent. Really good food too. Try the Elk Burger.

Hop Valley Brewing in Eugene OR, was good too. Super crowded but decent beer.

ProTip for Russian River Brewing.

Sampler of 6 beers during happy hour is 16 dollars.

3 pints are 12-15 dollars depending on the beer you choose.

I went to Burgers and Brew in Sacramento yesterday and that place was good. They have Pliny the Elder on tap there.

Track 7 is probably the best brewery that's actually in Sac. They sometimes are not super consistent, which gets annoying. Bikedog is okay... great sometimes, mediocre others. Ruhstaller is also just ok. Beryessa Brewing in Winters is the best in the area, if you ask me. Knee Deep up on Auburn is also outstanding, but the location is so so, and their beers are all really high AVB... makes it tough to drive there.

Sf beer week is fast approaching

The opening night beerfest is worth the ticket price if any are still available, I got mine weeks ago.

Roughly a gazillion breweries, the gfamous ones draw the hipsters leaving tons of beer with short lines and no limit aside from the clock and the bathroom lines.
