My 916 on the day I bought her...she's not so purdy anymore, but I love her more and more. She's the only blonde 916 I've ever seen (she started out a red head). I call her "Tank", because that's how she's built: I've crashed her twice, once at Laguna, the other time on Highway 1. I've ridden away each time. At Laguna, I didn't even miss a session.

Mark and his brother ride matching 996s, and the finance manager for harley has the other 996 (no bike snobs in this town, we are all bike whores, no brand loyalty, fine machinery is fine machinery!)

On the road girdwood- this is a favorite of the "big cruises" we all, north about 70-80 miles to Hatchers pass (starting in Anchorage) then about 140 miles from Hatchers pass to Girdwood, through Anchorage. Thousands do it every day when it is sunny!
Marks brother Corbin. You will notice that we are all gear junkies up here too- warm, and safe.
This is where you hang out and wait for all the real enthusiasts to ride. There are some Rubs and squids- but damn few, and someone always takes aside the more blantant and stupid ones and gives them the "this is Alaska, this is how we do it up here" speech LOL
