Old guys @ Carnegie. 8/27/16

+1 I hope you can join us, Butch. :thumbup

I'm always easy to spot: silver Mazda 3 with a three rail trailer / fat guy on a green and white KDX 200. :ride

I'll be there with 2 or 3 other riders, we'll be camping there Friday night. I'll bring a pot of Brenda's Hawaiian baked beans for the BBQ. White 98 Toyota Tacoma with three rail trailer, see yawls at the MX track.

Butch, can you join us?

I will do my best to be there at 8:30 and yes, it sounds like we're headed east (left on the main road) to the MX track. Makes sense, that's a good landmark.
We can fill in the details throughout the next day.
I gotta say, I'm pretty exited about this.

Looking at the map, the MX track is over by the "4x4 area".

didn't there used to be another (smaller) track, between the MX track and the Park store ? I don't see it on the map... oh well, that's what happens when you don't visit someplace for YEARS ! :cry

Looks like I'm in.. the slow bike is stickered and seems to be running good (crf230 :laughing )

Naw, you've got it right.
You'll see the beginner track on your right (it's still there) as you make your way to where we'll be.
Glad youre gonna be there. :thumbup

We should probably get a little organized with the stuff people are bringing so we don't end up with 30lbs of meat and no buns.

Maybe make a list and assign people to it? Alternatively, if someone is taking lead, we can all throw him/her $20. Thoughts?

Burgers
^Buns
Dogs
^Buns
Condiments
Sodas
Chips
Charcoal
Lighter/Fluid
Grill
Paper plates
Napkins

Thanks for volunteering to organize the food. You're a good egg, byke. :thumbup

I just now got home from an after hours work meeting. Commuting on the motorcycle is awesome until you need to go to the grocery store.....and besides, I just wanted to get the fuck home. All of this is code for *I won't have time to provide or prep anything cool*.
Tomorrow will be another late starting evening and I have bike prep duties like the rest of us.
Can I grab some of the low hanging fruit and just bring buns/drinks and perhaps toss someone some cash?
I'll do better on the next one....and there WILL be a next one.

Just finished prepping the bikes... I'm bringing a big pot of baked beans and enough, paper plates, utensils for all, also got a camp stove and a small propane grill. I'm camping and leaving tomorrow 11ish from Half Moon Bay. Yo :ride:ride:ride:ride:ride

Not to go too off topic, but what is an RD 125? I scored an RD250 for a hot chick in college once..

I'm happy to do the food as long as folks can chip in - guessing $10 each should cover it.

Dogs, burgers, chips, sodas - Bykes list. Bring your own beer/alcohol if desired.

What's target headcount - 10 folks?

T

Tim, that would be awesome. I'll bring cash and hopefully a little extra food.

:hail Tim, Thank You... In with $$

^^^What he said, thanks Tim! Looking through the thread, think I count up to a dozen with a couple of those being wobbly.
