Order gone bad

I'd mention their name so the rest of us know they are dishonest.

Why not just pay for the lines and get the clip ons somewhere else?

Before I posted this, I didnt know anyone else that sales them. I emailed Apex Manufacturing on Friday hoping I can just order direct from them. I haven't got a respond. I tried calling them yesterday but the number wasn't working. So now I wasnt sure if this company is still in business and didnt want to be stuck with a brake line with out the clip-ons. Remember the only reason I order the lines cause they said they had them in stock.

Well anyways I just got a called from Apex about 5mins ago. They said they have it stock and will ship it today. Oh and its $40 cheaper :) free shipping too.

Just to give you a hint. Just look up Apex Clip-ons cause I dont know who else sales it besides them and the factory.

Here's a hint: You learned a lesson. Two weeks is not nearly enough time to make this kind of major change. Plan on further problems when you install them. (Like brake reservoir hitting fairing.)

Come on, Ernie, both you and I know Superbike engines sit under the bench until the night before the race. :laughing

Fwiw - I called Spiegler for custom lines and had them on my doorstep 2 days later. Good of you not mention Sportbiketrackgear.com, but I'd cancel the CC order, and source things out elsewhere.

I've ordered my gloves through the same company and everything worked out just fine, but sometimes you've got to move things around of they can't get it done.

Now they sent me the wrong Brake lines

I just receive my brake lines from company. Its the wrong year make, they sent me 01-03 RSV #S-AP0019. my bike is an 05. I called AF1 to see if they are compatible, they said noit is not. I call STG to tell them they sent the wrong lines but now they telling that I cant return them cause they are custom made. I understand that but this is not what I ordered. Well anyways Im still trying to work it out with them. I hope they do the right thing..

That's ridiculous. Talk to the guy's supervisor.

I dont think asking for the manager would help. I sent an email to Phil at the company but he said he never receive it. I forward him the email I sent to him and the responds I got back (not from Phil). While talking to him we got cut off, not sure if it was my phone. I tried calling back but no answer. He did mention earlier that he was about to leave.. Anyways I hope he fixes this
