this is tooo funny, people making fun of his site, now he's here and reads it all. but at least he seems to have a good sense of humor about it, or he didnt read the posts.:teeth

aside from the so debated quality of content on the site, Props on the layout and design :thumbup

whats so bad about the quality of the content on my site? i dont understand, you mean some may not like the stories i have to tell about my life? im honestly baffled by what you mean or whats wrong with my site, im not too bright, if someone could enlighting me to what everyone seems to be talking about, i'd appreciate it. just say it as you see it.

thanks for complimenting the design at least!!!! the reason i picked cyberena is because my first web site, which is actually my portfolio web site is called cyberena web designs.

http://www.cyberena.com

at first, me and my friend called our new web site "elites and artist" but that was long and hard to say, so we thought about abbreviating it to ENA (elites & artist) then just added the word cyber in front of it, and thats how it came to be.

nevertheless, its all good...

Ok, since i feel just a little bad I'm gonna try and explain this...

See, your no stranger to this board here. A while back, one member saw and ad placed on Craigslist for someone looking for models to be photographed with their bike. Upon following the ad to your wedsite we found the content to be somewhat amusing. See, the way you talk about your R1 on your website might sound cool to someone who knows nothing about bikes, however most of us on here being motorcyclists found your articles to be somewhat hilarious...

Personally for me it was statements like

its the type of bike where even if you had 4 locks on it and locked in a garage, those guys you see from the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" will come looking for it.

With the R1, if it was racing a car, the instant you pull the throttle down a little bit, you instantly will literally disappear from the cars sight. You really need to bend down, and hold on tight when you do this. Its NO COMPARISON, not even exaggerating. So its critical that you have a great control with the hand or else you may accidentally pull it down too much and fly off or just die.

I used to ride a sports bike in Hawaii for about a year without a license or insurance, it gave me enough experience to handle the R1 pretty well

I still know my limits and dont plan on hitting 180mph until I get comfortable with it and the braking and just get to know the bike more. So maybe in another week or so.

Do you guys really think it's the dude from Craigslist?? Maybe someone's just fucking around.

But if it is, it's gotta be one of the funniest moments on BARF!!!!

yes it's cyberena, has to be.

dude, don't worry about the website flamers it goes on all the time. you just be careful with that freaking R1 someone just died over the weekend. of this I am serious brah.

come to the SF :barf socials, we're a friendly group. And beside I bet a few of the girls (and maybe a few of the guys too :wow ) want to oogle you now :laughing :laughing

roscoe - for sure! LOL!

oh man, someone said this would happen....

I TOLD the rest of you futhermuckers that this would happen. Does anyone listen to Donoman../??? NO!!!

Homeboy's websight is alright... it's just that he chronicles his experiences on sportbikes a little different than us. I hope he lets us see the nekkid pictures he's going to take of Voltron's cousin on his R1!!! :twofinger

hey, i dont know that much about motorcycle, but doesnt mean i cant ride one alright. id love to join you guys at socials, when and where?

my site does leave a lot of space open to vulnerability, but its being deep down honest. if you view your own life, or were to write or publish your private journal onilne, your no different, better, less funny then anyone else. just that you protect yourself by keeping a face you like others to see. but me, im very open with my life, i like people who know all humans have fault and laughing at each other isnt a good thing. i like people who i know i can share my DEEPEST weakness with, and instead of getting laughed at, they understand... you have deep deep weaknesses, problems, and very private experiences, you just like to hide em.

it takes courage to share what you TRULY deep down think, do you have that courage? ive always known i have courage, and it has brought me to where i am in life today. life is truly blessed for me i believe, but lez not get into it. you guys would get bashful and just put down people if they get real with ya.

it takes courage to be very honest with people, to share your most vulnerable thoughts. the type of friends i like are those who are down to earth, not afraid to be themselves, let themselves and their faults be known, its all good......

its too bad this board isnt the type you can come on when you have a bad day, or a girlfriend problem and share... i know other board that feel like we're truly FAMILY, and seen people open their reality online, and many sharing their pain, or helping.. this board isnt one, which is why i am disappointed, as those types of boards are VERY UNIQUE and SPECIAL. this is somewhat like craigslist disc board, and we all know how high quality craigslist disc board is..

maybe MOST you guys disagree with me! but still, all good nevertheless... lets go drinking and just have fun.

The SF Meets are Wednesdays at Family Billiards ~8pm on Geary in front of the tunnel to Japantown. See you there! We drink and go for a ride around the city. :teeth

All BARFer's in favor, say "BLING BLING!!!"

Cyberena, you make some good points but I must disagree about your persception of BARF.

First off your right, to post you life in the open like that takes cajones, and if you read that thread I don't think anyone disagreed with that statement, in fact I think most people said they don't have the courage to put their life out online like that.

However, what you dont know is BARF is very much about family. Yes, we all joked and laughed a few months back when someone found that ad, and so now you think you being bashed. What you'll find out if you show up to the social's is that this board is VERY different from others in the fact that we are not all just online people. In fact, lots of us poster have met in person ridden, talked, drank, eaten, joked, and even cried together. We've have a lot of happy times together but a few sad ones as well. Just one example, Donoman and I met when I purchased a used exhaust from him and now we BS regularly with each other. He's a funny guy, just stay away when he's gasious.

My suggestion, show up the family's meet, introduce yourself, I bet someone will end up buying you a drink.

You wanted exhaust, I gave you exhaust!

cyberena, your really stereotyping barf and you have never met any of us. If you have the courage to go to a meet you'll see the truth.
