post a *PIC* of your latest purchase (can be anything as long as you purchased it)

bought this tiny flashlight, called "Olight clip Ultra". It works. Definitely decent and good for its size. The material is nice quality etc etc.

Bought it for fun, and, to Clip OR Magnet in places if there's something to fix, or for walking around!

It's smol. As you can see it's about 4 Windows Squares / 2.1 inches tall
The only thing is, maybe there's a tiny issue: it's 5700 - 6500 K and it looks like the reflection is nearly hurting the eyes... the light has a harsh color.

I just ordered one of those a couple hours ago. Though not for me since I already have more flashlights than I know what to do with. Well, I got the model below that. The Pro. I’m doing a white elephant thing at work, and figured the Ultra was a bit too much for our $40 limit.

If I were buying it for myself, I would have totally got the Ultra. That UV light on the Ultra comes in handy every so often.

It’s been cold and both pair of my helimot gloves are too far gone (repaired previously) so I just pulled the trigger on some Lee park gloves

Fancy knee brace. Well Medicare and my supplement covered it. TKR May 7th and still have pain inside shin and knee. Dr said the MCL has not fully reattached.

your MCL is being rude! hopefully it decides to get with the program and reattach.

I was eyeing fancy knee braces last week and listing after one in particular. You know you’re getting old when…

27" 4K are so cheap now I picked up one to use with the Mac. It's not 5K so there's the scaling issue but even when set to 1080p it's still way sharper than what I was using previously. Plus gets the full 4K when connected to my PC for CAD work. Should have bought one sooner.

When I bought my own PC to run Solidworks, I bought a switch and adapter so I could use my 30” Apple monitor. All I had to do to use either computer was to push a switch.

My PC is a 16” laptop that I carry to and from work everyday. I would have to plug it into the switch/adapter every time or simply plug it into the monitor so probably not gaining much convenience with a switch. Especially since the mac is placed in a drawer when not in use so it also gets unplugged each time I want to use it.

As far as ultrawide, those were considered and since I’m not a gamer, were quickly rejected. I prefer the two monitor setup for home, three monitors at work.

24” 4K would have been my first choice but selection was sparse.

Ultrawide isn't just for gaming. They're better than 2 monitors for productivity without dominating desk real estate imo. But yes, 27" monitors are dirt cheap right now.

I use two 34" for work and home. Have one KVM that controls one monitor, mouse, keyboard and speakers plus separate HDMI switch for second monitor. Have work provided Laptop and then 2 personal towers makes it easier to switch between them.

Despite being a short motherfucker, I just ordered a seat concepts tall seat for my 790. I got used to being up high on the SMR and like having leg room. I also hate two piece seats with the passion of 1000 suns.

@Holeshot i have one on the dr650 and it makes the bike hella tall but i love the leg room and it is plush for a thumper saddle. i’ve done a 550 mile day on the dr650 with the former low seat concepts saddle and even it was pretty good.

i am very excited about this new seat. im heading to san diego friday and the idea of being ON the bike instead of feeling sort of in the bike appeals bigly.

Shockingly, I own two of those (first two), managed to stumble upon them in bookstore back east before the whole Expanse thing came out.

Pretty books.

Added a little noise maker to the rear of the bike.

This new rotor looks smaller. Can you give us a little bit more information about what you did here? Thank you.
