$25/hr. @ UPS? Brown has gone down!

A manager of a fast-food restaurant can make $42/hr. (info culled from poster at Panda Express.) Counter help listed to make $20.

Random, less than helpful ideas to follow:

Maybe you could learn a foreign language and become a boiler room cold caller?
Put an advertisement on craigslist suggesting hire Nathan's Foot Long.
Your posts indicate you can fix things. Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. are always hiring.
Don't get a job in a moto shop. They're a dying industry, evidenced here at BART with notice of closing stores and further, you'd spend all your earnings like a teenager working a mall job.

But yeah, 25 - 40 is the range they posted online, I'm gonna ask for the higher amount just for funsies and then decide if I'm willing to do this for a month at whatever they end up offering.
 
It’s still you working. Hopefully they give you a week to get it together before you start.
 
Costco whole frozen turkeys: Foster Farms $.99/lb, Diestel brined and seasoned $4.79/lb.

I wanted to grab a smaller FF turkey for next year to smoke but dayum, they are big.

Well that was cool, talked motorcycles for the most part, sounds like I have the job, and it'll be a night shift from 4-9 which sounds way better than 6-11am. I guess I'll know by Monday. Pay might not be great though I did at least ask if there was any flexibility on the range, but it should be interesting to see how things work inside big brown.
 
Nice might be an overly positive assessment of the situation, but, it'll probably be interesting. HR has already sent me forms to fill out so, I guess that's a clear indicator.

I'm getting it the old fashioned way, by making a bad decision and working there instead :laughing . I have a feeling I'll be thankful it's a temporary job.
