Incredibly. And for me as well, constantly trying to get her to stop working and be present in the moment. At home, when we're out together, she was always doing some work thing. Hopefully whatever the future brings has a better work/life balance.
i sincerely hope it does, for both of you.

Time off is always nice, good opportunity to travel disconnect and reset, says I. I haven't figured out my next career or whatever yet, but someday.

sooo the bus stopped after the bus stop (120 feet later) for me and my lill rommie and opened the doors to pick me up.

thinking I have to submit a commendation , but don't really know the route number. :dunno I think I got the coach number.

and yes, drama was had, that's why we was missing the bus.

Sadly, seems like a trend.

Company announcements of layoffs in the United States surged in October as AI continued to disrupt the labor market.

Announced job cuts last month climbed by more than 153,000, according to a report by Challenger, Gray & Christmas released Thursday, up 175% from the same month a year earlier and the highest October increase since 2003. Layoff announcements surpassed more than a million in first 10 months of this year, an increase of 65% compared to the same period last year.

I'm not convinced AI is really doing that much in the way of replacing labor, but it sure is a great excuse for layoffs. Every executive deserves a yacht after all.

hate to tell ya n4, but as far as I'm reading reddit, the same people who extol the vitrue of Waymo (And who cares about the cat, they say?) are the same that love the AI, too.

whenever @sama says "BUT THIS IS GOIGN TO CREATE SO MUCH WERALTH!!!!

Tech bros gonna tech, I'm unconvinced the current AI iteration is moving the productivity needle, but long term, it's gonna disrupt the same way search did back in the day. I'll still take a waymo over an Uber any day, but I'll skip the AI art and videos. As for wealth, of course, as.long as you can get investors to throw money at ya, you get to be rich. Look at the dude from We work, he's got lots of investors in his new BS.

Unsurprisingly I finally got a rejection email from the company I interviewed with on Friday. I didn't think I was gonna be what they needed, but it would've been interesting.

We bbq our bird every year... but she will want a working oven for other things.

Kuro,
Did you ever watch that video? Spoiler, guess which president just remodeled the bathroom in the White House, with a great big window next to the toilet?
