I hear you Bruce. I do... but I don't want to screw them with their insurance and this is no 10K fix by any means.
I dunno, if the panel is gonna be replaced and painted that can add up quick. If they think they cal pull out the dent, maybe less.

Additionally, as immigrants, if they don’t take care of things it’s curtains for the wife.

:wow :shocker

Fortunately, @budman knows where they live ;)

she could have .. . done (not done) the other thing and not fess up by coming to his house? :dunno Not like many people I see don't do that... I swear I think I saw a (drunkish?) neighbor with a Grand Cherokee smash the rear quarter bumper of an SUV at 10pm one dark evening... but I wasn't sure

to rush to be
my rush was pretty bad this morning... couldn't get out to have a chill coffee outside due to rush and mess , messing up things and I couldn't park properly :(

Finally back to a decent temperature outside. Hopefully tempers have lowered along with it. The parking lot behavior has been :wtf the past couple of days. Always fun to have a couple thousand people shoaling in and out at the same time

64 degrees.... . .

Iirc, I took the doctor note to dmv and got the placard the same day... but that was at least 20 years ago, so the process may have changed.
Did you know that you're NOT supposed to drive with the placard hanging off the rear view 🪟? Of course you probably know that...

... But I just saw the woman behind me drive with a placard on the mirror :dunno

So Bavarian Performance Moto shop, (BMMoto), fixed my intermittent front brake fade and intermittent brake light problems.

Evidently deposits of some sort in the brake fluid (2008 F800ST) and needed to bend the bulb contact back into place for the brake light.

Can't pick it up today as my back is fubared for some unknown reason.

Maybe tomorrow or Saturday my back will behave.

Budman: Before you pay someone to remove that white paint, try this. Get yourself a clean soft cloth and some isopropanol (rubbing alcohol may be strong enough) and soak the rag and rub the white paint. It should come off. You will need to rewax the area you rubbed.

I’ve done this before on several vehicles. Most recently on my neighbors black Mercedes. After I was done it looked like new. Your results may vary.

You should report your supervisor immediately............

:rolleyes
To be fair, my now deleted comment (thanks for respecting my privacy....) was in regard to something that directly affected me, whereas your post is again about some random dumb little thing that doesn't affect you in the slightest way, and is really not something most people would think twice about, let alone post on the internet. Do we really need to know that some white car turned left from the middle lane? That some random lady picked her nose? I know this is the PW thread, but that doesn't mean you need to post about your right shoe having slightly more dirt on it than your left one.

I never do that... mainly because of the whole "running over people in the crosswalk" thing. :nerd
Yeah don't you hate when that little thing could be happening... although the A-pillar and the moving-frontal-blind-spot is a bigger problem (of not seeing pedestrian from the left)

I just didn't know that it said it right on the placard on the top: "Remove from mirror before driving" !!!

SO MANY people driving with it, SMH. But, TBH we, other drivers are accustomed to seeing the DP drivers in motion and to behave differently around such. I think.

I have a double uvula. :shhh
I have eyebrows and can move them ... erhm exactly like Hans from Doom

I had a high-end PDR guy come out to deal with my wife side swiping a bollard in my 2-day old new to me truck.
He used lacquer thinner and wiped the paint clean off before working the dent out
he said lacquer thinner will never damage factory paint finishes.
