Morning All.

Hope everyone has a good week.

I realized to ride I have to get my boots on and zip them up. Taking the right one off won't be easy either.
The shit you think about at 2am when you get up to pee. :laughing

So.. this AM no sock machine. Must do it by overcoming the range of motion pain.

Weird but true stories of rehab. :teeth

After a few hours in the saddle, it may be an option to ask a buddy to help with gear. I live by the mantra "no pride, no dignity, no shame."

grrr, still can't fix my espresso machine... the adapter of the thread on top of the valve is wrong.

The advice page said to order from amazon 1/8"NPT thread but it turns out the valve itself says it's 1/8BSP. so the pitch is wrong...

... okay now ordering another adapter :facepalm but have a tiny, open, useless amazon package. (anyone want it.?)

okay.. one more week, wait.

I'm making regular coffee. But also, are we absolutely sure that I need to go to work and pay bills and all that adult crap?

Imo, it will come down to your ability to process the pain (sorry, but it's unlikely that your going to be pain free... more likely you'll feel it every time you mount and dismount.)
I was able to start riding again after recovering from at least 4 different major surgeries. It's a great feeling to get out there again... and that feeling can override a lot of minor, nagging pain.
I think your going to do fine, although you may have to make a few adjustments to your routine.
My accumulation of injuries finally resulted in pain and spasms that became too much for me to manage and I had to give up riding... at least for the time being.

And we have coffee. Sitting in bed listening to music and drinking said coffee. I would be seriously bummed if I had to give up riding two wheeled things. I don't have much else going on when you get right down to it :laughing

If I am at a rally I will help you take your boot off. No shame.

Naw I'll go in, sounds like an easy night of testing actually. Then I have two days off, then back to robots, unless I give notice and get sent packing. Tomorrow will be day one at the bike shop. I'm excited and I'll have to really work out a budget I suppose. But also, I'm probably gonna have to build myself a cool bike...

HURRY UP.

:laughing

Can I go home?

I guess my statement that Pliny the Younger lines were shorter was untrue.

Met my friends there at noon today but left as it was a four hour line.

They stayed in line.

Figured the Monday after the last weekend, (ends April 2nd) would be light.

Nope.

I missed a special opening of a keg of Pliny in a special historic place in downtown SF the other month. Yes, actually, no line.

Only one catch to it.
You have to be on social media, RIGHT THERE and then that evening.

it was a four hour line
Dude. :laughing
