Miss Logan managed to get an E Coli infection in her ears, the right much worse than the left. Her constant head flicking because of the irritation caused an Aural Hematoma, ie, she got a big bleed under the skin of her ear flap. Being heavy with blood caused her ear to flop down and made her flick her head even more, compounding the situation. Only option was surgery. Expensive! Its all fun and games until you end up in a cone.

Bella did not cope with the cone at all well. It ended up being a very poor shovel for food. It was just a disaster.

Dini, however, coped right away. You'd hear this FOOMP sound as the cat and cone were plonked over a food bowl that she'd proceed to empty. It was more like a vacuum attachment.

I turned Apollo's cone around when he broke his hip. It did the same thing, but was more comfortable. I also ended up replacing it with a softer cone that was much more comfortable for him.

Congratulations, and I’m sorry! I know I really need to find a home for Sundae, but I’m sure I would cry harder letting her go than I did when I finally trapped her.
You’ve done a really good thing, and Lilith is going to live a great life because of your efforts. Let that help dry the tears!

Last Christmas, we got the gift of 3 pink noses in the window one night.

My cat was staring out the window and into the dark, and I'm like "What the heck...".

There were 3 kittens in the window staring back at us.

Within the week, we had them housed in the garage. We got then spade/neutered, and then fostered them for about 6-8 weeks. And finally go them to the shelter. Turns out they were 8, 6, and 4 months old. We thought they were all siblings, so we're curious what their story was.

We already had 3 cats there was no real way we could keep them.

They were pretty quickly snatched up into, ideally, loving forever homes.

But we still miss them every day.

They sent my wife a video. Lilith will be extremely loved and spoiled!
