Post your Minis!

damn that engine is soooooooo clean! hell; the whole bike is!

Hey Pete, I thought that was you! I pulled over at the lookout in case you doubled back. Stance on the bike is looking good!

I was trying to turn around but there was too much traffic. We need to do another SF ride

Chit if I had the extra cash I'd love to have something like this... My daughter has a crf50 and I need something to ride with her.... Plus it's plated for the street, even better.

This is an imported from Japan, (not sold in the U.S.) 2006 Kawasaki KSR 80 II.
It is a 80cc 2-stroke, 6-speed, oil injected, dual disc, up-side-down fork, street legal minibike. It's been called "The King of Minibikes". (70mph top speed). Only a handfull of these in the states. This bike is California street plated and titled. Call for more details and pictures. $3000. (650) 630-4568

Now with video...

Thanks a lot!!! I just need a truck to take her out of our couldesack... Hopefully my Track Bike sells soon.

I raced my YSR for a couple years out of the back of a PT Loser. I just put it in the car.

I’ve always wanted a CT70 since I was a kid. Who didn’t right? Merry Christmas to me!

I saw this on craigslist yesterday and swooped down on it. Like a falcon picking off a squirrel on the side of the road. 1975 ST90 All stock, 3K miles, starts right up and runs fast and smooth. Idle is so quiet.

Was a Steal!

I need to connect all the turn signals (this week’s project)then she will be 100%. If there is going to be a mini bike ride in SF please post! Sounds like fun!

Bivouac is a custom 1971 Honda SL-70.

  • The front end is a hybrid of Honda CB/SL/CT parts.
  • The disc brake is a mechanical cable actuated unit from a 1974 CB125s. Both wheels have been re-laced for the desired size.
  • The rear swing arm is from a 1984 XR100.
  • The tank and seat angles have been modified to be more horizontal.
  • The exhaust header is made from three pieces of various pipes, including a section from a garden umbrella pole.
  • The muffler is a Cobra and came off a Honda ATC125.
  • The battery, light bulbs, and regulator/rectifier are 6 volts. The engine is 12 volt CDI.
  • The rear fender was moved backwards and the kickstand was lengthened.

I did all the paint and welding myself. The green color is a Honda automobile color from 2008 called Kiwi Green Pearl. The frame color is Oil Rubbed Bronze and looks golden brown in the sun.

This is my 7th custom mini build since 2008. This one is called Bivouac. I hope you like it.

Yes this photo was taken in the living room. With the wife's approval! And that's the CRF100 engine swap in the background.

I have no idea how to get photos to post to the reply! Grrr.

I totally dig it!

My nine year old daughter now thinks this is going to be her new mini....

Manimal, Thanks for the attachment help!

You should come out to Atwater sometime. It was pleasantly empty of other riders on Thanksgiving Day. We spent five hours turning laps. I even did a couple 'handicap' races with my daughter. My NSR not above third gear against my daughter on her stock CRF70. I raced HARD to win and she killed me, twice.

Originally a 50cc pushrod engine, now a Pitster Pro 160-HO. Hybrid CL-70, trail-90 front end, trail 90 swingarm and rims, CL-70 shocks, handmade clip-ons and rear-sets. Ebay seat from Vietnam, the seat pan is hand-hammered from old ammo-cans or some-such!
