I like the cheap crab nets at the Rusty Hook in pacifica. It comes complete with rope and ready to go. Just throw some bait into the pouch built into the bottom/center of the net and toss in the water. I think it's $20 or $25. Big 5 sells SHIT crab nets, so avoid those.
