I thought the coach didn't put the runners in the best positions. Brommell is known for his starts and being shorter would have been best on the first leg where Mike Rogers didn't close at all so lost 3-1/2 meters to Powell. Rogers has a better top speed than Brommell, he should have run the last leg.
Personally, after all of his screw-ups, including costing the whole relay an Olympic medal for doping, I would not have included Tyson Gay on the relay team.

Nice job eliminating the UK who won their heat with no proof of an infraction in any video and thus moving Brazil into the final.
The US DQ had evidence but the UK DQ had zippo and as the evidence was supposedly "inconclusive" the referee's call cannot be overturned.
