RIP Marco Simoncelli

What!?!? I met him last year. He signed my helmet. I can't believe this..! :cry :( :rant :rip :rose

And even worse was the fact that his gf and dad were present at the race. How horrible is that to witness.
 
RIP Marco. i loved watching you race, i knew there was something special about you in the GP circuit. something has been lost that will NEVER be replaced.

Woke up from sleep, oddly with some sort if dread, but hoping to see who won the race....
overwhelmly saddened that Simoncelli passed...... RIP
 
Bad for the rivalries, bad for the sport, bad for everybody... =(

I was really looking forward to watching Spies and Sic dice it up for the next few years, godspeed Simoncelli. :rose

What kills me is that I was the GF of a former AFM racer and witnessed 2 of his minor crashes which made me scared to death. Fortunately, I never witnessed the rest of them, which I heard from other people, after the fact, were pretty bad but I can't imagine what his poor GF and especially his dad must be feeling.

My heart truly aches for them. :cry
