^^^^wow....

thanx for that - quietly whimpering again

what a thread

I'm still broken up over this news. Truly tragic. RIP Marco!

That last sentence really sums it up......."God, I'd have loved to see him on a 1000."

Yes, the sport lost a BIG, talented personality. He was showing the signs of greatness; showing an ability to temper his aggressiveness. He MIGHT have been another Rossi (or not).

Damn. It's just so sad. So very, very sad.

A nice, respectful piece coming from what appears to be non-enthusiast press. They did a decent job of explaining what happened and why it's a big deal, helping non-motorcyclists understand a bit. I understand why they kept showing that clip, but after seeing it once I never need to see it again.

They kept showing it over and over and over on Italian TV and I kept crying when I would see it. I'm not a huge moto gp fan or anything, I just like to ride.

I've never been one to wear silicone wristbands like "Save the boobies" even though my mother is a breast cancer survivor.

I felt the need to get this as a mark of how much this sport means to me. This is my way of remembering not only Marco but also Tomizawa, Kato, and the reminder of the reality that this sport and this passion I love may one day claim my life as well. And that's something I believe we, as riders, should make peace with and something that should never be forgotten or disrespected.

Of course there are many other riders but I can't wear a sleeve or wristbands for everybody.
