Article discusses why the sudden hate on Rousey:

Good point. If you want to wear the TWELVE POUNDS OF GOLD you gotta WALK THAT AISLE. Woooo!
For me, there's no "sudden hate". Hate is an entirely too strong word for how I feel, tho. She's just obnoxious and intolerable. I don't hate her, I just wish she'd go away so the true elite fighters can get some better recognition.
But just like I said, it's ok to get beat, it's ok to be a blow hard, but if you do it, you gotta keep at it. That is why I get a kick out of Chael and can't stand Ronda.
Besides, Chael (usually) has something interesting to say, even if it's crazy, where as Ronda comes off like a dim wit, classless trailer park queen and never knows when to shut it off. I don't think she can.
Srsly, if Mayweather has more class than you, you have a problem and should seek help.
Also, I take exception with the last line of the article:
who has done so much for the sport you love
Wrong. UFC/Dana White used her to expand the UFC viewership. Good business move on their part. Bad for a long time fan like me. Yes, it's nice that it's much easier to find fights on TV now, but UFC cards are no longer special. They used to be an event. You used to know everyone in the whole organization. Used to be a reason to get together with buddies. Now, you (I) just DVR the free cards and FFW thru the crap in hopes of seeing a decent fight. More often than not, I do a hell of a lot of FFW. I used to buy every single PPV and make it a reason to have a get together. I very rarely buy cards now and more often than not, am disappointed. Gotta be a really damn good card for me to pay and there's no way I'm putting down money when Ronda is on the card.
It's changed and in my opinion, not for the better. Ronda has been a tool in helping the UFC expand, but I don't think she's done jack diddly shit for the sport.
