From the look of the pistons, head, and bore, it looks like that motor has not been run on that top end. Good stuff if in tolerance.
I've never used pennies for the primary gear jam. We always used a rolled up rag.

Nice work, that's a delightfully clean lump. How much squish are you running on the 350? Are they stock heads?

Back to Frame Makers to install upper shock mount brackets.

Things went swimmingly until we tested the rear suspension. It barely moves. Julian has determined that the heavy aluminum lower arm (fabbed and set up buy someone else) is too short. The suspension is unable to work properly and will need further mods. Damn.
