I woke up from the "expensive = quality" dream years ago.
The only reason I even considered trying Sedici was because I grew tired of replacing A* and others at the same rate.
Helimot > Alpinestars. Plus, he's local.

I actually have been using the other sedici glove and have really like them. The first pair, the velcro started pulling off from the wrist band, took them back, got a new set. So far, 2 months of commute from Oakland to SF, haven't had any problem. They fit well, super comfy...I am just keeping an eye on the stitching, but other than that, no complaints from me.
For comparison, I have worn: Joe Rocket (their top of the line), RS Taichi (my favorites) and A*. Are the Sedicis in the same class, no...but bang for buck, I really cannot complain
You really don't know 'Bang for the Buck' until you crash in them. If some of them fall apart from regular use, how will they hold up to crash impact? Not all expensive gloves are good though so do some research... The magazines do some thorough gear reviews![]()
With no intent of causing a stir....I technically can't speak to bang for buck, if that classification is only used in terms of a crash. I have only crashed in the Joe Rockets that I had....But, I get your point, and at the same time, I am not saying that I would take Sedici over another higher priced brand (the Taichis were out of stock that I wanted to get). I was just saying for the money I spent, the lifetime warranty, and the more superficial stuff like comfort and appearance, I don't find them to be horribly bad.
No stir caused my friendJust wanted to point something out. Recovery from injury sucks... Some good research and a smart purchase can prevent / reduce that

Completely agree. I only purchased mine as a "for the time being" until I could get better...but was pleasantly surprised.
