Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder that it's cash-only! They do have an ATM there, though, if I remember correctly. Whatever Whatev and I will be there closer to 9pm - hope some of you will still be there. I think in the interest of drinking more than one beer, I'll be taking the bicycle instead of the motorcycle.
 
How far is the cheese-steak? Google maps showed me a KFC on the corner by the bar...I'm not picky, that'll work for me if nothing else is in walking distance.

The Cheese Steak Shoppe is about 3 blocks up Lakeshore. It's wacky wednesday so there will be some sort of buy one get one half off or some such promotion.

Also for the Cash surprised, there is a BofA ATM on the same block as the H&D. There is a Wells Fargo ATM right on the other side of the Grand Lake Theater and a Chase ATM around the corner on Lakeshore.

ironbutt, I was thinking of heading over to Benders (19th & South Van Ness) about that time, and then waiting for everyone and leaving at 6pm. last time we were pretty punctual, and if some didn't make it, they just caught up. :teeth

cash only is no big thing at all for the SF peeps. hell, most of the bars we go to are cash only. benders, zeitgeist, aces...etc...

can't make sushi, as I won't be there in time.

I figure, a quick reminder that we'll have peeps of all levels. so a mellow ride out to Lake Merrit is for the group. there will be some lane sharing up and onto the bay bridge.

if you guys want to go fast (which is what I prefer), I'd say, just peel off the group and have some fun. :burnout which is the temptation I have to fight each time.
 
Okay.. I'll try and catch up.. Got family in town..need to make a few pit stops on the way out of here to somewhere and onto there..

I'll keep an eye out for a gaggle of motorcyclist's lollygagging across the BB.. :)
