Sheriff & CHP: Differences

oh BTW the difference between the Sheriff and CHP is the one like Dunkin Donuts and the other likes Krispy Kreme. :laughing
 
That's what I'm asking. Are you actually not qualified due to age or do you just feel like you're too old to do it?
 
I'm a firm believer in the policy we have in the Army with our pilots. Unlike the Air Force and the Navy/Marine Corps who remove their pilots from the cockpit due to age limitations, the Army believes if you can still pass the physical, you can fly. :thumbup

I think the same ideal should apply to the CHP.


Hell, it works for Broward County in Florida.
 
When I realized that just like the military that I would have to be assigned somewhere in CA my family couldn't bear that. On a side note I am really liking my recruit cut I got yesterday. Reminds me of the ol' boot camp dayz. :laughing
 
You know if you're married and/or own a house, the CHP works with you to get you stationed in the area where your home is.

I never said I wanted to be a CHiP'r. My cousin was a CHiP for seven years and told me that based on his experience, he felt like little more than AAA with a gun. :laughing
