So... I'm jerking around with this scammer

No way...

....call the number I gave you (previous post) and find out everything you need to have in order to get this bike here.

This transaction isn't going to happen overnight if you want to do it right. Your instinct is correct in my eyes.

Sounds to me like he's gonna load the bike up with drugs and guess what my friend....can you say interrogation. Stay safe & think safe like you are. ....Let this fishy get away. Enough said.

I am pretty sure this is a scam. Definitely not going to send any money over there. I don't think he would load this thing up with anything except to take my $$ and run.

Hell, just jerking with this bozo.

Ever thought of reporting him to the Greek authorities? You have his phone number, that's gotta be tied to some sort of account that they can trace. Don't know if they will care or not, but...

Here's another way to jerk with him: tell the guy you really want to do the deal, but you need to know that you can trust him. Does he really have the bike? Can you really trust him to ship it to the U.S. undamaged? Does he know how to deal with all of the customs/import issues? Ask him to ship you the gas tank, or exhaust can, or the helmet (or whatever) before he sends the rest of the bike. Tell him that you realize it's a hassle, so you'll up your payment to $3000 and wire it as soon as he shows that he can ship this small item reliably :teeth

If the item does show up, let me know! My Dad used to work in Nigeria for Shell Oil. Along the way, he got to know some government officials. One guy has $34.6 million in gold, diamonds and U.S. currency buried in code-locked trunks near a small village just outside of Kinshasa. I've been looking for an agent to help me retrieve the trunks and split the profits. I am assuming your trust and utmost discretion in this matter...

Good suggestion, Fubar. The only problem is that i really don't think he has anything remotely associated to a bike. I think he will even have problem sending me a photo. Or may be he will cut and paste from ebay if I ask for a photo, that's why I didn't even ask.

I told him to call me back within 1 hour.

Maybe I can hook this guy up with you to get your trunk full of diamond? You want him to call you, too? He doesn't sound too smart over the phone.

Yes! Please have him contact me as soon as possible, assuming he can maintain the utmost discretion in this matter of course! Tell him that I live in San Francisco. I won't post my phone number, to maintain discretion in this matter, but he can call information and ask for Mr. Lavin Myasov Atim :teeth

Tell him to send you the helmet in good faith. When you recieve the helmet then you will send the rest of the cash.

Come on, think about this. Scam the Scammer.

I've just got off the phone with him again. Once again, he assures me that he isn't a scammer because if he is he "won't be calling me" as he puts it.

He also won't do COD because he had just lost bunch of TV shipping over to Indonesia as he puts it. He said he is in court with FedEx at the moment because the carrier took the money and ran away - beats me.

Given all what he has told me - I'm more than 100% he is a scammer!

Next time, answer the phone with: "Agent Smith, Federal Bureau of Investigation, San Francisco Field Office, how can I help you?"

That ought to be good for a laugh.

do it do it

I think if I answer the phone like that, he will just hang up, not much fun in that. This is what I've just sent to him (I've been on the phone and he couldn't call in):

Daniel,

I've went to Western Union and they won't allow me to wire any money out of the US anymore. FBI has given all the money wiring agencies (basically all the banks) a list of names that have been suspected of giving money to terrorist and my name somehow got on that. The FBI showed up minutes after the transaction failed because I think Western Union called FBI¡¦s special phone line. FBI has taken down your info. and told me they will have agents visiting you shortly. They have taken my phone and are now auditing it. I think they are using it to call back to their office. I think after half an hour they will be done. You can call me then.

Talk to you later.
