you mean this one?
from what i've read, its gonna be an option to get the M colors.
if you're referring to the "orange peel" look, BMW paints their cars like that as well. its an process thats hard to duplicate. So you can tell if the vehicle has been repainted before or not.
yeah, that's the one.
no, not orange peel. i've owned a couple of late model BMWs so i know what you mean. i understand that orange peel is more the result of using environmentally friendly water based paints. i don't think its desired on any level.
the frame had more of a semi-gloss crinkle finish you see on outdoor patio furniture. it looked cheap.![]()

I saw it. I didn't think twice about it. It's just another repli-racer look alike. They're never going to sell very many because the budget liter bike crown just won't pay the premium. It doesn't have the Ducati panache to justify it being an exotic. This will all change if by some engineering miracle they get to the pointy end of WSB.
I think they will sell their entire first year run- no problem..
Traction control for 1000.00$ more than a 2010 R1-how is that translate into "paying a premium"?
Let me re-phrase that. Ignition management...lol
The final price isn't out yet. I don't see BMW Motorad going Walmart.
