Sony sucks

R U fooking kidding me???? Whomever is doing Sony's security, needs to be fired immediately. And if it's in house, the team needs to be fired and they need to go outside and get someone who is competent. This shit is inexcusable. Sony has no shame!!! and they're lame. And I want my $45 dollars that I have in my account back. I wonder if I'll ever see that money?

So, it sounds like we just have to wait for their servers to come back up to reset our passwords and be able to use Netflix??

Their servers are up and Netflix is running. You need to download the latest ver. of the system software, make sure you quit whatever game you're playing, reboot the system, and change your password. But still can't get to the Playstation Store, where I'm hoping my $45 is.

But that's not the problem - I can't change my password because the sony password site is "down for maintenance".

No matter what I tried I would not update my PW. However, I just created a new account/profile and it works fine now.

While I did lose some of my PS3 game profile info, not the end of the world.

My friend got his Netflix to work on his PS3 just by continually pushing the ok button every time some message popped up, he didn't mention anything about needing to reset his password....
