speeding motorcycles, cop, gun, bang!

inattentive driving and lane deviation.

If my intentions where not to pull over on the side of the road, then yes. But I pulled over on the side of the road with the intent of stopping. BTW that is not the point on the road the vehicle entered. I had pulled it further ahead trying to get myself out of the ditch I pulled into. The ditch was not visible due to over grown grass covering the edge of the road.

I am with you on this. I hate it when cops engage in parallelization. May be with the advent of auto-parallel parking cars, this kind of violence will stop.

It was auto spell check. You knew what I meant, so instead of being an ass about it, provide something that actually proves something with the topic at hand.

Yeah no shit, what does that have to do with your statement about OMG SCHOOLZONE?

It has to do with the rider being an idiot and not only driving intoxicated, but driving intoxicated in an area that statistically has a high number of children, whose life he could have taken by using poor fucking judgement and driving intoxicated.

*Note- None of that says the cop was right to shoot him. Just that he is a fucking moron I refuse to pity for being shot. Karma is a bitch.*

LEO's have a tough job to do with sometimes life/death split second decisions in their hands.

In this case the it appears the LEO made a very bad decision with the biker shot/paralyzed for no good reason.

I can only hope other police departments utilize this scenario and this video to improve the training of their officers to make better decisions on the use of deadly force.

And even more so:
This is why I live in California and not anywhere else..
Cops here are smarter..

You don't know the mindset of many cops.

Over on the LEO forum, the cops there, and especially the moderator Rel who holds himself out to be a CHP, have indicated it's a case of shoot first and ask questions of the survivors, if any, after.

Rel said killing a female passenger on an evading motorcycle is department policy. "She was asking for it," he'll say. No cop on the forum disagreed.

So, not so surprising this cop plinked the Harley rider off his bike "just because." The cop is no doubt astonished he wasn't given a medal.

Thats really what you all have resorted too....

Grammar and spelling corrections when you can't provide a valid counter argument. Classy.

No it doesn't.

I meant plain. OMG HE MADE A SPELLING ERROR! THAT RELATES SO MUCH TO THE TOPIC I'M GOING TO FOCUS MORE ON THAT THEN THE DISCUSSION AT HAND!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH SPELLING NAZI FTW!!!!!!!!!
:rolleyes

but that's exactly what you did by blowing the whole thing off with a WOW. :confused

irrelevant

It's not just during school hours. It's any time of day. I grew up across the street from my elementary school, so when I wanted to go outside and play, I went to school. I'm sure I wasn't the only kid.

Besides that, statistically, there are more children in the neighborhoods surrounding schools then no children in the area surrounding schools. So therefore, lets say a family was coming home late from visiting distant family members and he blasted through a stop sign. Oh now they are all dead. Must be irrelevant because its 2am so the likelihood of a child being in the area drastically drops because its night time?????? IT'S DRUNK DRIVING. I don't feel any pity for someone who decides to make that judgement call to drive intoxicated and gets injured, regardless if the injury has anything to do with their intoxication. Thats Karma getting even.

Fine, that could happen anywhere. Still irrelevant at 2am.

Again, not everything is about you.

No, that was me choosing to not respond to that post, at the given time.

You called? I thought I made my presence well known :confused

Welcome. Now that your presence in this thread is known, I'll be sure to keep track of my spelling.

No, it is not. As I have gone to show with the links provided. Drunk driving accidents don't happen at the same time and they can happen at anytime.

Therefore,

Drunk driving + neighborhood with school (making the neighborhood have a higher number of children present) = higher probability that a child will be injured or killed in the event of a drunk driving accident.

Lots of neighborhoods have lots of children in them. Still does not make a schoolzone relevant at 2am.

Again with the posting just to post and insult instead of actually providing a valid argument as to why I am wrong.

I don't think I can break it down any simpler for you
dude.

http://www.wfaa.com/news/Two-children-killed-in-suspected-drunk-driving-accident-90487044.html

There were 11,773 drunk driving deaths in 2008.

2008 showed a 9.7% decrease from 2007 in alcohol-impaired driving deaths.
Drunk driving deaths (11,773) accounted for 32% of the total amount of United States car accident deaths (37,261) in 2008.

1,347 children ages 14 and younger died as occupants in car accidents in 2008. Of those deaths, 216 (approx 16%) were the direct result of drunk drivers.

Along with the 1,347 child occupant fatalities, another 34 children died as pedestrians or bikers who were hit by drunk drivers.

Nighttime drivers were four times more likely to die in drunk driving crashes in 2008 than those driving during the daytime.

In 2008, weekend drivers were twice as likely to be involved in drinking and driving car crashes than weekday drivers.

The 21-24 age group accounted for 34% of all alcohol-impaired-drivers who died in accidents in 2008. The 25-34 demographic accounted for 31%, while those from 35-44 years of age accounted for 25%.

Despite being under the legal drinking age, American teens from the ages of 16-20 were more likely to be killed while driving under the influence than adults ages 55-64. Teens accounted for 17% of all drivers who were involved in drunk driving crashes, while those from 55-64 accounted for 12%.
Of the drunk driving crashes where seat belt use was known, nearly 75% of all drunk drivers killed in accidents in 2008 weren't wearing seat belts.
In the United States, a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) level of .08 or higher is considered above the legal limit in nearly every state. The most frequently recorded BAC level among drivers who were killed in alcohol-impaired-driving accidents in 2008 was .16, or twice the legal limit.
Drunk drivers who were over the legal limit when they died in 2008 were eight times more likely to have been previously convicted for drunk driving.
In 2008, 6,316 passenger vehicle drivers were over the legal limit when car crashes claimed their lives.
In 2008, it was more dangerous to drive drunk on a motorcycle than in any other vehicle. The percentage of bikers with a BAC level of .08 or greater when they died in a crash was higher than the amount of drunk drivers who died while operating other vehicle types.

You are just an idiot. Plaining and simple.

lolwut.....anywho I thought about 20 posts back you said you were done with me and taking your ball home.:laughing

That post wasn't an insult just showing that you accuse someone of doing something, then do the same thing yourself, then rationalize it.

Should I get out the anal beads and Vaseline for you two?
