You're right. If you read thru the whole thread it's clear who did it. But have you considered that it may be an organized mirror theft syndicate and one of the residents of the complex might have been staking out your bike? Be careful here, because if you pin it on the thief that you identified here, there may be other residents in the complex that will seek retribution. Major crime operations like this usually involve shady characters that you don't want to get mixed up with.
Ture, but I've been doing the same routine for last 2 months. No issues.
The guy I am suspecting parked his bike across from mine....walked over to my bike (not knowing I was the owner). And when I took out the bike cover from my gf's car and walked to the bike to put it on, he was standing close to it checking it out. As soon as I walked over, I said hi to him...and he acted stunned an walked away. Then, after putting on the cover....we drove off. I'm sure he saw us driving off. And figured we won't be back for a while. I can't say a 100% it was him (but 99%, yeah).
If you add up all the facts you'll see why I suspect this guy.... I said "suspect".
1. He doesn't live here or is ever seen here.
2. As he rode in to the lot (from Exit side), he was already facing my bike. Then parks across, not his spot for parking (but convenient).
3. He walks over checking out my bike, doesn't reply me, instead gets a little nervous and walks away.
4. Nobody here owns a bike, or has shown any interest in my bike, in over 2 months since I've riding it here regularly.
5. People here are all professionals, and I doubt they even have to courage to mess with someone property. (stealing mirrors, come on now). It takes courge or experience to do this sort of work...
Other than that, I don't wanna add more than what I've already said so many times. I totally suspect this guy, and for those who don't agree...well, I hope you don't see him in your complex...and find your parts/bike missing...Anyone got better suggestions who it could be? (Probably people who live here and don't own bikes)..

. I didn't say I was 99% suspicious of him BEFORE I left. I said "AFTER" I retuned and found the parts missing, THEN I suspected him, as I played back his behavior in my mind - coming to a conclusion that he would be the one....
