Someone was asking for some details...:shhh

So I figured I put it out here... :)

The front brake disk...
320 mm and an extension for the caliber... It’s a must.
With the original 240 Disk it’s like driving an Aircraft carrier. You need 3Miles to come to a dead stop. :green

Front Suspension...

I ditch the Fork about an Inch to get rid of the annoying shaking above 80 - 85 mph.
And it gives you more stability around Corner's. I also plugged an other 2mm washer under the main spring to give it a bit more preload. Changed original 5 grade with 15 grade oil. But I'm only 160pds if you are more then 180 - 190 pounds you can go 20 grade or higher.

Cool Brother...that looks like FUN!!!:teeth

:smoking

Ahhh more Pics... My fucking DSL died last night...:finger :flame
And now I have to upload the remaining pictures from work... :angel DOH...

Well this is nuttin special. Everything on the swingarm fell victim to my hacksaw and a bit polish. It’s hard to see on the pic.
A 42 over an original 45 Sprocket (to compensate for the smaller 17" wheel; original 19"). And on the rear suspension done nuttin else then preload on the spring...

This is pure cosmetic...
A few more parts that had to give away under the constant motion of the saw :teeth.

If someone ever saw the original taillight from a XR-L... :green

Replaced blinker with some of the shelf 12$ blinkers.

I believe there was one time that a plane attempted to land behind me while I made a right turn with the original blinkers.

And last but not least...

The front.
The same with the blinkers. One more time the saw did an unmerciful job on the front fender.

The 17" get lost under the original fender. Chop of about 6inch and the whole front becomes quieter above 65mph as well.
The fender is bouncing in the wind.... bounce baby bounce baby..
:cool

Anyone interested in a CA registered Street Legal YZ400F to start a SM project? Let me know, I will probably soon be selling it (as soon as I get the 450 EXC) ;)
