Your rant made pretty good sense until you got to the white guilt part. What does that have to do with anything said in this thread? To me, when I see that, it's just another way of saying: "White people are better than everyone else and are race traitors if they don't acknowledge it." Another reason I am leery of the Tea Party. I agree with the young/old part.

No, it's just a knee jerk reaction of mine to being called "racist" anytime I say that barry, or babwa lee or boxer or sharpton or jackson or billary are full of shit. Or any time I speak of GENERATIONS of people feeding at the government teat, it's open season to pull the race card. I call bullshit, it's time for EVERYONE to stop playing the victim, and start being responsible for their own shit. I see my tax dollars going down the government rathole (chinatown subway for a few BILLION anyone?) It's time the "average Joe" stands up and says ENOUGH! And that time is now, this could get interesting, we may actually have a (small) new crop of politicians, who really don't care if they get re-elected or not, they are voting for what THEY and the people who voted them in believe in. A man who feels he has nothing to lose is a formidable opponent.

Dude you are the FIRST person in this thread to pull the race card. Nobody is ranting about generations on welfare but YOU. I am HAPPY to see the government cut entitlements by half, or more. I think four generations of AFDC destroyed the black middle class in America and consider much of the entitlement program to be poverty pimping to provide employment for liberals.

It's not about getting a job, it's about being aware of how we treat ourselves, others, the planet. Capitalism as we have it now benefits the few to the complete detriment of the many. There is no freedom when you are in economic chains, and truth can't speak to power when power just kills everything that stands in its way. The pols are owned by the rich, the laws coming out of DC are written by the rich for the rich, how can you justify trickle down when it has done absolutely nothing for anyone but the rich. Wages have remained stagnant for the middle class for over 40 years. Our infrastructure is in complete decline, our manufacturing base is gone. The only thing the US produces anymore is war and the weapons to wage it. All the tech that is innovated here gets manufactured somewhere else. I don't want to burst your bubble, but can't eat your fucking Facebook page, and Your ipad 2 isn't going to keep your dry when it rains. All the wealth created in the last tech/housing bubble was an illusion, there was nothing of substance involved, just asshats throwing money at another pipe dream. A few companies came through, but most just died. The only people who made out were of course the rich. If you don't think the system is gamed towards their benefit and their benefit alone, please explain the "too big to fail" and "privatize profit and socialize loss" standards that we are living with right now. The Tea Party has a right to be angry, but if they don't take on the rich and the military industrial complex, they are nothing but another group of whining bitches in the never ending spiral of government ineptitude and corruption. Until they bring something new to the dialog besides the continuing fucking drone of the extreme right that it's the unions, the entitlements, the health care, etc. they can go fuck themselves, because we've already heard that msg from the republicans for the last 50 years and in that time the middle class has had it's collective teeth kicked in by the right. I think my grandfather paid $300 into the system when he worked. He pulled that back out in one month after his retirement...and each month after that for 15 years before he died. Then my grandma got some.

If one invested the same amount of money over a lifetime it would be worth far more than they ever draw out in SS checks and benefits.

Yes and no. My social security donations I would rather have seen invested. However my medicare donations have not even come remotely close to the the cost of the medical care I receive.
