The Home Grower's Thread

Looks pretty good. However, most of the trichomes look clear. But you have good orbs man, I say go for it.

Or wait a few days and see if they milk up. The amber ones may have been damaged or something.

Clones do best when they go from rock wool cube to 4" pot to #1 to #2 to #4 to #6 to #10 in my experience. They get lost if they get put in too big a pot. Dont let them get root bound either.

4" is on the left.

I don't do that many transitions, but one really nice thing about more transitions is more opportunity to get mycorrhizae to the roots. When you transition them that gently, how long at each transplant before they start ripping again? I'll go from solo cup(up to ~12") to 1-2g(up to ~18") to 5-10g and each time it takes about a week for them to adjust, but maybe the adjustment is near seamless when going from rockwool>4">#1>#2>#4>#6>#10?

Im going from #1 to #2 this week. Its been maybe two and a half weeks since they went from the 4". We have had a lot of bright sunny days here the past month. They are really vegging hard right now. I pulled one out of its pot to check roots today. Little roots just started touching the side and bottom of the pot. They are ready to move on up. If they keep growing this fast I might skip a size or two. Some years we are fogged in early on and they go longer between sizes. Not usually more than 4 or 5 weeks tho. Most of the time they seem to bounce back in 2 or 3 days after getting re-potted.

Yeah, only seed grows bounce back in 2-3 days with the big jumps in pots, the clones suffer at least a week. Maybe the downtime ends up being a wash, but it sounds like they're significantly happier with the smaller jumps, plus you don't have to do the 'little bit of water around the center and heavier just outside their reach" thing.

What camera and lens did you use?

Sony A7r2 body and 90mm G macro lens. Picture is very, very poor output for that gear, totally my fault, macro is not something I'm good at.

Upon a second look, I'll be right over. They look great.

:laughing Thanks. Flushed out nutes this morning and added back a bit of sugar to the flush solution. We'll see what it looks like in 24 hours.

This is one of three plants that I'm doing in an Aerogarden. I'm quite curious to see the final yields from this as there are quite a few that say it can't be done at all.

Next time I really need to lollypop the plants

Them are some scraggly looking mofos.

This morning we let the dog out. He came back in and I was like "Why do you smell like weed?" Evidently he was out gardening.

I am excited for this grow to end so I can start over properly.

I broke out the two Space Buckets I built, I am going to try the auto-flower in those and grow clones when time comes in the main tent.

Hood off aerogarden, just before cutting and drying.

Not huge buds, but a damn lot of them. Topped during veg state and trained to be flat on top.

One of the stems has auto-super-cropped itself but didn't break :) The buds look light but when you push them around you realize they are super dense.

My local shop sells clones and seeds now!

I just double flushed the weakest plant, 3 are scraggly but fine, one has smaller buds and totally wilted leaves. Can't hurt, it's not going to produce a lot.

I've turned off the humidifier at this stage as well.

Incidentally, the LED lights save over $100 /month on electricity

I dont think you should be making things more humid during flower. The only time i want high humidity is when im trying to get clones to root. Usually more moisture in the air = more mold. Mold is super no bueno.
