The Home Grower's Thread

You could get some floraflex caps and run hose from each plant/cap to a valve and connect to a 5g bucket. They make some fittings where you just drill a hole in something and the fitting threads through it. Could maybe find one of those watercooler stands to hold the bucket up for gravity feed, or just get a cheapy barstool from ikea.
 
I might just get a battery powered pump with a long wand. For now (in the near future) I'll use my long armed manual pump wand.

Just checked the plants, the flushing ones are still green all around, just gave them the last of the 5 gallons of flushing liquid.
Will harvest between tomorrow and the weekend. The Tiger seem to need more time.

I'm getting to the point where it is time to start another crop, and the wife says nofuckingway in the house again.

I have a spot in the garage that can work. This time of year temps in there range from 45 to 65 degrees. Will that work, or should I wait until it is warmer?
 
I think it's perfect. To me, indoor is a three season thing and you take a break in summer to do backyard stuff and avoid a/c usage.

It's better cool the lights will keep it in the proper range.

Get a 4x4 tent
 
First plant weighs in around 9.4 ounces trimmed so that'll be like 2-2.5 ounces dried?

Both plants together trimmed are 1 lb wet. I also got some nice trim I'll boil into the tincture

This is week 6.5 of 10. Should be finished ~1/19 if it's a full 10 weeks. Only two more weeks of feed! Trichome production is shaping up nicely.

Looking good.

I'm starting the flush of the Golden Tiger. Soon the tent will just have a single Wedding cake.

Also, my buddy helped me distill 750 ml of tincture into 22 ml of oil. After distillation, there was 200 ml of liquid which I slowly boiled off the alcohol on an induction cooker. Then I let it cool a bit and deemed it the right texture for sucking into syringes for storage. Easy peasy for once, no massive loss or difficulty using in the future. Recovered 500ml of Everclear for future use.

Last time I did it I got it way too thick and it was impossible to manipulate.

Super cool. I've gotta pick up the distiller at some point.
 
That's definitely an area I want to play with, small batch fruit wine for distilling.
 
I took some of byke's Wedding Cake and put it in the Nug Smasher rosin press and got super high off a dab just now. Crazy nice golden color.

Is the cake budding ok? I imagine it still has a couple/few weeks to go.
 
Super healthy. In a few days, it will live in the exact center of the tent with no competition. Definitely needs more time.
 
I think it's a 10-week'er like the dosidos/gelato I'm working on and they all flipped on the same day, so maybe sometime around 12/19.
