The Official 2012 NFL Thread

Steeler vs Bengal game is shaping up to be pretty damn important.

Yes. Hopefully the Bengals arrive at that game at 9-5. I have hope that they can win in Pitt because 1) they'll have 10 days to prepare for it. 2) the Bengals Defence is rolling. In the past 4 games they have given up a total of 35 points, but only 2 touchdowns. 3) when Dalton plays well, the offense rolls.

I have doubts that they'll win because 1) Ben should be on the field. 2) the Bengals rarely beat Pitt.

Hopefully the Bengals can get it done. Should be fun.

Charlie Batch done snatched one from the Ravens

I mean, division games are always tough.. Damn though. Conservative playcalling + shitty O-Line play is a bad combination.

How do they beat the Saints but lose to the Rams....nearly tie again which would have been a joke.

Stat wise the Saints I guess have a worse defense.

The Niners are confusing me this season. Akers isn't automatic like last year and the offense with Moss, Manningham, and Jacobs plus rookies Jenkins and James who arent playing, isn't 'explosive" like predicated.

Moss isnt getting any targets on deep one on ones. That was supposed to open up the run game and middle of the field even more. I do like Crabtree killing it.

Being real, I saw the schedule and I thought this morning aside from the Patriots game, that the Seahawks, Dolphins and Cards would be automatic wins. I'm not so sure anymore. They are relying on the defense too much and doing funky option pitch plays deep in their own zone :wtf

I think Harbaugh is holding onto several players for the playoffs to surprise teams BUT it would be good to win the division and get a first round bye again.

Division games are always tough.

Akers lost his mojo. Not sure what his deal is but I read a bit on the interwebs that he's been hiding an injury (or the team has). Either way his consistency is shot to shit and he may have cost himself a job today. That's two game winners he has missed against the Rams.

Aside from that, the shitty playcalling is really confusing. I figured James would be the obvious guy to take over for Hunter. He's a speed guy. Brandon Jacobs is not a speed guy.

Dayum, funny stat:

Janoris Jenkins has as many touchdowns as Matt Forte this year.

Jets benched Sanchez and won. Fan shows up with custom jersey. :laughing

Wow the AFC is making the NFC look bad....four different teams in the AFC already have 9 wins or more (Texans, Patriots, Ravens, Broncos), the NFC only has one (Falcons).

Weak-ass NFC. :p

Who loved Bob Costas' gun control rant on Sunday Night Football?? :wtf

http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2012/12/03/nfl-costas-speech-reaction/1742313/

Because according to him, if "we" were not allowed to have handguns than the Chiefs player and his girlfriend would be alive.

Watched it. Hardly thought it was a 'rant'.

I agree that for some people, having a firearm increases the probability that they will commit a tragedy. Those people are likely to have lost control regardless of whether they possessed a firearm or not, but they would probably kill less people, or at least have a harder time doing so.

Holy shit, the Steelers surprised me. And the Seahawks too! WTF weekend? Good shit. Tonight is the night for my guys to seal the deal!

Fuck, if this is the best the NFC East has to offer for the next X years I'll be STOKED. The Redskins are just such a better class of organization than the Cowgirls and Shitbirds.
