The Official 2012 NFL Thread

If you look at the Indy QB who started the last 8 games of 2011, Painter, you'll see he had very similar stats to Luck this year, though Painter went 0-8. The Colts are winning this year despite very mediocre QB play from Luck. He hasnt played as well as Newton or Dalton did last year, and he is being seriously outplayed this year by rookies Wilson and Griffin. Right now the "future" of Indy and Miami at QB are ranked 31st and 33rd in the league based on the QB ratings. I woulnt want to saddle up a horse of the future for either of them right now.

Luck's late game heroics have his teammates believing in him, that's what they call an "intangible quality".

And who expected the sorry Colts to be heading into the playoffs this year? Nobody! (course they could still choke but at this point they seem playoff-bound)

Dalton, the guy thoroughly outplayed by Tannehill in the Miami-Cincy game this year? :laughing

One game dude. :laughing Feel free to continuously jerk yourself off over that win all you'd like. Clearly Dalton has been superior overall to Tannehill, as well as Luck. Neither have had, nor will have the rookie season Dalton had.

Oh ya Dalton had an excellent rookie year, not Newton or RGIII level but still pretty good. Not the norm.

Tannehill is having a typical rookie QB year....some good plays followed by a bonehead play. But he shows those flashes of brilliance that give one hope for more of that and less mistakes. If he stinks it up vs the Jaguars today I'm gonna be pissed. :laughing

Man, I love watching Flacco get his sad face on.

They should fire their OC, the same guy that almost had a perfect 0-16 season when he was Miami's head coach. Oops, too late! :p

Ryan Tannehill with another solid game, that's three games in a row with zero interceptions, and two of those games were vs NE and SF...two Super Bowl candidates. :teeth

Falcons, wow.

The Colts, Ravens and Steelers all lost. Cincy grabs a game on all of them. Huge matchup next Sunday between Cin and Pitt.
