Can the Giants suck any more in this game?! I just needed them to play one more great game today. They're gonna end up giving up like 70 points thesse past two weeks on a row.

Troy Aikman: "They don't look like they want to play in January"

Green Bay "Seattled" the Titans, they seem to catching fire at the right time.

I thought Shittsburgh looked bad today but then I watched this 49ers game

49ers like MUNI on holiday schedule

Santa put a fat old turd in Harbaugh's sock for Xmas, I guess he been bad this year

Tough loss. Still win the west by beating up Arizona next week. Initial thoughts immediately after the game:

- Justin Smith is a beast and not having him had a huge effect on the rest of the defense
- Vernon Davis is a big part of the offense even when he's not making catches
- That tackle on Manningham that messed up his knee was dirty as fuck.

Highlight of the day: seeing the Giants get rickrolled by Baltimore.

I have SEA and 39

A reasonable spread for a betting man.:cool

Ugg, that manningham injury made me cringe.

Tomorrow's SF Chronicle headline:

"Niners snap Seahawks' 50-pt scoring streak" :laughing

I find it curious that the hit on Davis was a penalty because he's a defenseless receiver, but one guy holding up Manningham so a second guy can take out his fucking knees is perfectly OK. :dunno

It's weird. They gotta figure out that rule. Davis's hit wasn't even head to head. But, that hyperextension can certainly end Manningham's career.

The hit on Davis was text book. Lead with your shoulder and hit to seperate the ball. The hit on manningham wasn't dirty at all in my opinion. The NFL is going to call penalties on anything high, ala the Davis hit, so dudes are going to now go low.
