This is a man's game, and no one was going to keep RGIII off the field. It was a close game going into the half. heck, DC had the lead until late 3rd/early 4th quarter. Their game plan was an RGIII plan, not a Cousins game plan. Any of you think you could/would stop RGIII from being a 'hero' and getting back on the field?
It is what it is. Blame the ultra-competitiveness that is the norm in the NFL, if something needs to be blamed.
Just being devil's advocate, here, though, the new rules about concussions do prevent the man from rejoining the game, even if he's dying to be a hero (just ask Alex Smith). In other words, a degree of injury as a concussion carries more weight than degree of injury to a knee. Of course we all understand why, but the man's game thing argument is weakened if not negated by it.
RGIII didn't have a concussion
RGIII didn't have a concussion, but yeah the players need to be protected from themselves. up to a certain point, I'd agree. but limping around with a bum leg doesn't seem to be one of those injuries that'd 100% certainly sideline a guy
Of course he didn't. But he had a messed up weakend knee, which was obvious to everyone. If the league ends up with a "knee rule" it might be because of the decision to play him.
But anybody cant just go out and be a hero, now. That's already changed.
Does Jay Cutler know that?
I just have a hard time blaming the coach for this one, is all.

BREAKING NEWS: Huey Lewis and the News will perform the national anthem prior to the 49ers-Packers game Saturday at Candlestick Park.
Couldn't stand them in 1984, can't stand them now....

They should hire the chicago fireman that sang it during the stanley cup for the blackhawks two years ago. Amazing!
