The Official 2012 NFL Thread

one thing I always hated/respected about KC was their fans. always a packed house, always LOUD when the Raiders had the ball, always quiet as a mouse when KC had the ball. smart, passionate fans.

... and as long as they pack the stadium, Clark Hunt isn't gonna change a thing. Lamar must be spinning his grave.

We don't lose in Dallas. :)

That was a heckuva 2nd half by the Cow-girls, though... if Bryant doesn't break his landing with his hand it could've been a comeback for the ages. He really just isn't a smart football player, certainly not one worthy of wearing 88 in Cowboy-lore....

Yeah, hell of a game. Giants fucking RAEPED for first 1.5 Quarters (23-0) Dallas THUNDERS through next 1.5 (23-24) Giants bottled it up for the final Q (29-24). I am at this point very curious how many years will go by before we ever lose in Dallas. I wonder if Eli ever will, his curse stands unbroken...

saw that live. wasn't he a defenseless receiver then? head turned, no ball, didn't have a chance to make a "football" move?

anyways, Golden Tate's hit on Sean Lee was just as good if not better. that shit was epic.

Who allowed the Cardinals on MNF? Geezus. The entire country turned off the TV in the 1st quarter of that ass-beating.

Let's get back to the Fins vs Jets. Has this amazing feat ever happened before? Miami blocked a FG, blocked a punt, and recovered an onside kick in the same game. :rofl

I respected the fact that Goldson, after celebrating his hit, was relieved that Doucet was able to get back up. Yes this is a man's game, but it's good that at least some big-hitters don't wish to take food off of other players' tables.

I realize the Raiders just beat the #32 and #31 ranked teams in the league (via espn power rankings), but the Bucs are coming to town Sunday, and without their all-pro guard Carl Nicks to boot.

4-4, maybe?

That would be nice, but the Bucs looked pretty good last week against the Vikes, I kept changing channels from the Giants game when Buck would blather on.

I'm going to the Raiders/Browns game on Dec. 2, I hope it's a"meaningful" game... BTW, how the hell did the Browns beat the Chargers? :wtf (Yeah, I know, the score was 7-6, a real barn burner.)

^yeah my bad I barely pay attn to NCAA...but I'm pretty sure Spurrier coached the Redskins at one time....poorly

His other pro coaching was for the Tampa Bay Bandits in the USFL, and they had decent record for the USFL.

EDIT: Sorry, post 1715 sounded kinda dickish upon re-reading... I was meaning that Alabama could have a better chance of beating a pro team since Spurrier wasn't the coach of the Crimson Tide....
